What do people think about the Cup final tickets situation? Seems the club holds back 4,500 tickets specifically for hospitality. If you look at Hampden, Celtic don't sell D1, D2, D3, I3, I4, I5, H6, K1, K2, K3, K4, L1, L2 or L3 to people eligable for tickets, so most likely these are ones held back for hospitality. That doesn't include I6 either which they keep for staff, players, players families etc overall of the tickets we get about 5,000 don't go on sale to fans.

They sell hospitality for about £300 each but it includes, food, drink, bus, say they profit £150 per person from doing it, they only make about £700k from it yet deprive say 25% of the remaining people on the home cup ticket scheme the chance to get a ticket.

Some fans this season for example could have spent £175-200 on the 5 home cup games and 2 semi finals so far and never got the chance to buy a ticket for the 2 finals. Yet any random guy could buy hospitality for both finals for £300 each having never been to a game before.

This final is the least fans i've heard of getting a ticket, only 3 out of 10 people in my family got one.

Listen to all the * interviewed at the Dublin riots, and half of them were English accents - over to cause trouble, or had moved there at some point... There's plenty of anti-celtic/anti-catholic/right-wing voices around there now, and they're fueling more and more dissent by the day...

I think the general cost of football, particularly at celtic in Scotland, is awful. It's already priced out a lot of younger fans and it's just going to get worse as long as there is demand.

On the cup final, it's probably pretty standard fare for cup finals now and less as a percentage than many other cup finals. But it is still rotten.

Does the decision sit solely with Celtic, or is it also up to the SFA?
