Seems like something that would maybe have happened back in the old days or even in the 60’s or something but not sure how old the trend is.I like to think we’d do it - as a club we should be better than them in every single way and appear to be - even although the fans should be expected to do nothing other than boo every single minute of it.

 

I fully understand your thinking behind this however, I fecking hate the * with a passion and letting them beat us 3 times in a trot would be a right boot in the balls and, even though they have won * all trophies this season, another win for them would have them in their full "we arra peeepelll" mode and living or working beside them would be unbearable

 

Played * for a while against them, this game especially against them is important. Got a feeling at last we turn up, 3-1.

 

I would sit a bit deeper.. with Engels beside McGregor..

They can't break * sides down, frustrate and then counter..

I get what you are saying, but I don't see what they have got to brag about, even if they get a result, it's a rubber match, nothing at stake, I would imagine both teams will be glad just to get it out of the way, regardless of the result. Football is very commercialised and sanitised these days, even the Celtic V Rangers games have lost a lot of their old passion and fervour.

Maybe its something to do with the fact they banned away team supporters at these games, but it just does not have the same feel about them anymore, to me anyway.

 

When was last time we dominated game and put them back in their place?.. they are rotten and allowing them to claim "only up for big games"...so supposedly just as good as us?... need to show them glasgow is green and white...know few injuries but bet on win 3-0...

 

First game of the season and even that, first ten minutes or so they were all over us, then we broke the press a disallowed goal and they had zero belief they could after that and were neither pressing or sitting back

They believe noe though, on Sunday we need to destroy that belief.

And that only happens if we run more, try more, pick up the second balls and win the 50/50s

We’ve spent 3 games now almost offended that they don’t roll over and allow us to play. That’s arrogance, arrogance is ok on the pitch but you need to earn the right to be, we work harder we win. It’s that simple. Better players, squad, quality add that to working harder than them they can’t touch us. And if we still dont do that after thd last 3 games, major questions asked for me. * the league being over as an excuse, it doesn’t matter.

It's happening too often when as u said if match up then win all over park...the always up for big games sh1te they keep spouting means they think just as good as us...really think we'll show up and give them a doing...going 0-3 on coupon

Massive game for us in the context of the season, in my opinion. We need a performance that shows how big the gap really is.

 

Hope their wee 49ers entourage don't have the same hearing problems like all our commentators and politicians do when it comes to hearing the sectarian and racist bile pouring from the stands. Maybe if they had any sense or dignity they would tell the huns to * off as they don't want anything to do with such a horrible club

 

I'd play a second string team. Give them the "respect" they deserve. Then, if they injure anyone, it won't affect the cup final. If they win, it will only give them a false sense of security. If they lose they would be in complete meltdown.

My main concerns tomorrow will how we start the game and how we compete. They will undoubtedly target Taylor with the usual high balls and will do the same with our keeper as he doesn't look great dealing with crosses. Hopefully Engles and Hatate realise that they will really need to be up for the fight and, please *, no fannying about at the back. Oh, and before anyone asks, my pants are beginning to get a little bit damp.
