Solanke, Johnson, Maddison and Kulusevski are all excellent players and excellent signings along with several others like Van deVen. Injuries have killed him this season but just generally they are a soulless club that several world class managers have now attempted to change the culture of and flopped.

I am not sure i would want him back if Rodgers left. You need to see the big picture when thinking about it. I agree that his football domestically was out of this * world amazing, but we can afford to score 20-25 less goals per season by having a far better defense for europe. I am 100% sure, without a shadow of a doubt, that we would never even get close to a play-off round if he was here this season.

Well, the hype around him returning would probably put most of us in favor but i am sure we would regret it the day the CL anthem belts around CP.

Just look at the results he have had in the PL this season. It has literally never been seen before for what i can remember. 5-5, 6-6, 6-5, 5-4, 4-7 and results like that :56: it clearly shows that his defensive game is a complete joke.

They’ve had a horrendous season with injuries, nobody can argue against that. You can’t setup trying to play the same way when you have as many players out though, that’s just brain dead. I mind the game against Liverpool earlier in the season at home and it could have been double figures. They still had a midfield and front line more than capable of hurting Liverpool, backed up by the fact they scored 3 goals that day, but the shape of the team defensively was like watching an * side.

Not convinced Ange had much co trol over signings, the players never really seemed Ange type signings or at least most of them

Which is where he likely finds Spurs worse than most clubs for that.

Ange was the manager when he was signed permanently but that’s by the by to the point really.

The wheels have definitely fell off.

Watching them I felt they played Angeball for about 25 games last season but was like their players bottled it in the end and then stopped playing how they did before.

Then this season they started off the first 10 games playing Angeball again and played quite well but their results were poor and the players arses collapsed again and they stopped doing it.

From November-March their season was a write off as they were missing about 10 players but even the last month with players back they aren't playing Ange style football.

The Ange style was basically to attack as fast as possible with direct forward passing and it leads to losing the ball and being countered at times but also cutting through the opposition quick a lot and forcing them back deeper and for them to worry more.

When you see Spurs recently, they pass the ball about the back all the time because their players are trying to hold possession which is the opposite of the Ange style. They also play really slow going forward and will pass it around more like Rodgers team in front of the opposition defence, they don't have the type of movement they'd usually have and passing through the middle. There was a recent game where they put like 40 high crosses into the box, unheard of under an Ange team where crossing a ball high into the box was pretty much outlawed and only passing movements down the side and cut backs are allowed.

Either he changes his style all the time at Spurs or the players have binned it and he's not doing anything about it. With us you'd assume he ruthlessly would drop players who don't carry out the style perfectly yet with Spurs pretty much nobody is playing how he'd want to play but he doesn't seem botherred.

The high line, the pressing from the front, the direct play, movement in midfield, balls slipped down the lines and cut backs which are the fundamentals of Angeball Spurs only really played like that probably from August-February last season and August-November this season.

I think he’s an excellent player personally, never in a million years 55 to 65 million quid worth but that’s what the EPL tax dictates.

I’m not saying they are bad players, I wouldn’t go quite as far as excellent. They don’t make it in any of the other top sides, arsenal, city, Liverpool. I wouldn’t say they start at Villa or Newcastle either.

They really don’t feel like ange signings though and they have spent quite a lot of money. Genuinely surprised he still has a job there. If he somehow wins the Europe league and gets another chance, he really needs to sign players that suit his system, otherwise they should just sack him.

VDV, Maddison and Kulusevski in particular could play for any team in England.

The rumour is, they already have his replacement (which thankfully won't be Rodgers given what he said about 200% being here next season) and Ange is not stupid, he'll know that. Also, I don't think he even wants to stay anyway looking at his body language. I've never seen him like that. Hopefully he wins the EL and leaves with a trophy.

Yeah they could play, be part of the squad and do well, but they’re not going to be starting every game for any of those teams, in my opinion.

If none of their players are starting for any of the top 6 sides, they’re not good enough for where they think they should be. And they should be challenging for the top 6 at minimum.

I like Solanke, good at holding the ball and coming deep to link play but more of a unit and strong in the air and he scores a good amount. Well rounded player who is quite good at everything and only 27, might do a top job in England for another 7/8 year when you look at Chris Wood, he'll age well too as he only really filled out physically 2/3 year ago and became a stronger striker who could lead the line and play through the middle more and he'll always be a good focal point up front.

He used to be quite pish 3/4 year ago when he was quite skinny and ran about more and tried to use his pace but you wouldn't be surprised it he went on to score 100 goals in the EPL before he retires.

I think he's well worth £50/60million in England, he'd start for Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd probably Liverpool as well.

He’d only start for Arsenal because they don’t have an alternative. He wouldn’t start for Chelsea and Man Utd aren’t a top side.

It's the going rate in England and has been for years now, Nunez cost £70million, Hojlund £70million, Havertz £65million, Richarlison £60million.

Aston Villa sold Jhon Duran for £80million.

Isak from Newcastle will probably go for about £120million. Cunha, Joao Pedro, Semenyo will proably go for £60/70/80millon.
