I don’t believe they said that at the end of a gig recently. They are extremely clever lads and they toe the line, they wouldn’t just staight up call for the murder of anyone. The timing just as they were gathering some real momentum and support too.

They’ve already came out and said they are being targeted.

David Amess was a tory MP who was murdered on the campaign trail just 2 years before these guys made this declaration. Stabbed 20 times. Good outcome was it?

 

It’s an outrageous thing to say, which I suspect is in part why they said it.

It shouldn’t be taken lightly though, wasn’t long ago we saw Jo * murdered. People - regardless of political persuasion - need to be held far more accountable for the things they say, particularly when it comes to instigating violence.

In a statement, Kneecap said they rejected "any suggestion that we would seek to incite violence against any MP or individual. Ever."
They added that "an extract of footage, deliberately taken out of all context, is now being exploited and weaponised, as if it were a call to action".
The trio added: "To the Amess and * families, we send our heartfelt apologies, we never intended to cause you hurt."
In its statement on Monday, Kneecap said: "Let us be unequivocal: We do not, and have never, supported Hamas or Hezbollah.
"We condemn all attacks on civilians, always. It is never okay. We know this more than anyone, given our nation's history."

 

I think the reality is Kneecap use shock tactics, and it's gotten them the coverage they were seeking. Having some 50 odd year old PM speak out about you is basically the modern equivalent of 80s comedians seeking a backlash from Mary Whitehouse.
