Not going to lie , I have no idea what the last of us is :56: Assume a TV show
Been there when you know an artist before they get "popular" and then the rest catch up for the wrong reason sometimes but all good if they like good tunes in the end

That's for another thread but aye. The first Shawn James track is from the game and now TV show. Ridiculously popular.

Everyone knows him because of the game, I knew him before he was famous. He actually offered to buy me a beer when playing McSorleys in Jamaica Street but I was on holiday with the family that week. Gutted.

    He is very talented.

A place I've never been to on the list of things to do.
    Timing is everything sometimes

I don't know him personally or anything I just messaged him on Facebook about 8 months before he was coming to UK to ask if it would be ticketed. He said no and asked my name, told me to say hello during the half time break in the gig.

It wasn't at the front of my mind a couple of months later and we had booked Butlins in Skegness the week he was in Glasgow. Rotten luck.

I've not been in McSorleys for years but in the 90s a Sunday afternoon in there was just perfect. Wide eyed from the weekend, few beers to unwind with some live music.

Patti Smith with the injury time winner. Weathered the storm and brought it home. Anyone that's ever been high will have waffled like this at some point :giggle1:
