64 team world cup

There's a proposal for the 2030 world cup to be expanded to 64 teams and no it's not from the sfa so that Scotland can actually qualify. This is an ongoing problem, this summers world club cup has been expanded there's the nations cup, it's getting ridiculous, players are not machines and for some at top teams especially they're lucky to get three weeks break in what used to be the off season. I know the players union has complained and there might be court action to curtail seasons but I'm not exactly sure about this. Players playing 50-60 games every season is not sustainable for the human body despite the improvement in sports science, again, players are not machines although for FIFA, EUFA etc they are cash cows.

 

Players in a 48 game world Cup and a 64 game World Cup would both need to play 8 games to win. That will be their argument. But there shouldn't be 48 teams. New Zealand now have a guaranteed WC spot, I mean * *, more than half of South American teams qualify.

It essentially means teams like Italy, England, Germany or France and even USA can * up in qualifiers and still get through. That's what FIFA want. Infantino is worse than Blatter.
