    Sadiku has to go.

11 games to play, Celtic were joint with Hibs, City & Sevco. Underwhelming form in winning against the amatuer teams, which could've been down to playing second stringers at times during the CL campaign, but it's the record against the teams that are actually professional that is the serious worry.

This season the League record against the other 5 teams that are in the Top 6... P12 W4 D3 L5

Two of those 4 wins were against Motherwell, who are 6th and are 20 points behind the other 5 teams.

So taking those 2 results out, and against genuine contenders (Hibs, Hearts, City, Sevco), P10 W2 D3 L5

3 transfer windows since Sadiku arrived and literally only Emma Lawton is a regular first team starter. And the only reason that she was brought in was as a direct result of Chloe Craig's ACL injury that ended her season in August.

Celtic won the league last year, pretty much built upon the GD advantage that was built under Fran Alonso, and this time last year the Hoops were in a situation where, so long as they didn't lose against the likes of Sevco, then GD would be enough to get across the line... which is exactly what happened. And even then it took to the 88th minute of the last game of last season to get over the line. That was last year, abd despite getting Celtic over the line, it was hardly a step up or taking to the next level as the extent of her ambition was to do the bare minimum to get over the line.

The mindset has been negative, the recruitment has been poor, the results against actual contenders has been dire... but it's not just the results.

Take tonight for instance. The game is 1-1 with 20min to go, Celtic playing at home in a game where they need to win if they are to mount any realistic title defence, or even stay in the race... Celtic have won 1 game in the past 6 (and that 1 win was against Dundee United... who are literally dead last and set fo relegation)... with all of that in the background to give context... and Sadiku decides to take off a striker and a CM and replaces with a CM and a DCM.

Nevermind that the striker, Noonan, had just scored the equalizer, or that we needed to win, but had the tema play way too conservatively so that it invited City onto them and surreneded the initiative, is it then any surprise when those decisions come back to haunt and bite the Ghirls in the *?

This season in the League against the other top 5 sides, Hearts, Hibs, City & Sevco... W2 D3 L5. Says it all.

I was thinking she needed a bit of space and time but it's looking grim

Only Lawton and Noonan have been good signings under her. What's happened to our goalscorers though. Gallacher was deadly last season, Loferski fairly dangerous too. Neither look like scoring now, so if Noonan doesn't score we don't.

I havent been watching the girls games much and Sadiku not doing a good job clearly the last half dozen results have been terrible

but have we not lost a lot of our good players we had a couple of years ago and replaced them with not so good players, like we cut the costs of the girls team ?

Menglu left in the summer, Hayes in January. I don't think it's cutting costs more just not wanting to compete with WSL.

    Honestly find them unwatchable.

She's formed a terrible team and deserves the sack.

Glasgow derby day is always highly anticipated, but today is pretty much 'do or die' day for the Ghirls.

This is in all practicality last chance saloon if they are to keep their slender hopes of retaining their League title alive.

The Hoops pretty much need to win every game from here on in, and that starts today. For a team that has won 1 in the past 7 overall (that 1 win being against certain to be relegated United), and have had a pretty dire overall record under Sadiku in these derby games v Sevco (W1 D3 L3... with it being D2 L3 since that 1 win in March 2024), it's a big challenge.

Hearts beat league leaders Hibs earlier today. So, just a few weeks ago they were tied equally with Hibs, City and Sevco, in a 4 horse race, and now will start this game in 5th.

Need to win this game, not just to get ahead of Hearts, but prevent Sevco from going top. City are 3-0 up on Motherwell, and if they finish winning this game (which they should) will be joint top (and even nudge ahead of Hibs on GD). And Celtic if they are to win the league cannot afford for any more slips if they are to chase down the gap that has already opened up over the past few weeks, and essentially have to win every game from here on out.

In fairness, that is being pretty disrespectful of Hibs in particular, who, along with City for a long, long time, were the dominant forces in Scottish women's football, and are coming back to where they were, while Hearts have been doing a lot of things right these last couple of seasons in closing the gap.

Make no mistake, it is serious regression as you say, but it isn't because the 2 Edinburgh clubs are not nearly as good, but because things have seriously been going backwards under Sadiku.

Today pretty much is last chance saloon for her to turn things around.

Leaving Amy Gallacher and Natalie Ross on the bench though...

1-0 down is bad enough, that was very nearly 2-0 down, ffs.
