He won't get any more out of some of the players, because they are simply not good enough, and never will be.

And he won't motivate them by standing lifeless on the touchlines with his hands in his pockets.

You know Brendan, it's alright to get vocal and animated out there. That's what you are getting paid for.
We might love you even more if you do so.

Looks like he hasn’t a clue how to fix this.

Doesn't know how to change tactics mid game at all it seems. The same pass it about at the back for half an hour then by the time the opposition have got their full team behind the ball, get it to one of our wingers and put in a *, floaty cross that they can defend easily. If that doesn't work, stick new players on in the same formation and see if that helps.

Can see why it only works when you have far better players capable of pulling off something.

Good to see manager calling it out, first step to addressing a problem is recognising you have one.

"It's happened too many times," he said. "I've seen a trend now with us, and it will be interesting between now and the end of the season in terms of mentality.

"We didn't start the game how we wanted. The first-half mentality and attitude is disappointing. It's about your mindset, and that is something that concerns me."

    That's * poor and inexcusable..

Im nowhere near the want him out camp. Our first season form was as good as anything we've seen for a long long time and we looked the most complete for as long as I can remember..

The stuff following that bar Bayern away has largely been really poor though. Bit of a chore. Been plenty games where players have hid/chucked it/bottled challenges/done nothing and on more than one occasion..

This is where the manager should be stepping in and getting Yang playing more. Giving Bonnar more of a shot. Sticking in a guy like Kenny who we know isn't the answer but will run all day long and burst a gut..

You can throw others in and out also but the football has really reverted to an eyesore state of pedestrian football all infront of the opposition who are all too happy to watch us pass our back 5 to sleep and pounce on any mistakes or launch one forward, create havoc or a set piece and bingo.....we're in trouble..

He's built a rod for his own back by continuing to select players like Kuhn every week.

He has in a way. But what is he to do.?
My guess is the likes of Kuhn, Hatate and even Engels are being put in the shop window, while we are far ahead in the league.
But the risk factor is too great now. Three defeats in the last seven games.
Just a guess, I could be wrong

It sounds nice, but its been like this for months. Most away games have been like this since November really. Hes been sleeping or turning a blind eye to it if hes only picking it up now. Its the same for the Rangers games. He got his warning in the Cup final and took no action. We then got absolutely mullered by them in ibrox and it was excused as a blip. And they beat us again at home. I wouldnt be betting on us beating them next time either even against this bang average Rangers team who are toiling at ibrox.

Theres no pressure or competition coming from behind so a blind eye has been turned to a lot of under par performances. A manager of Rodgers calibre should be taking action on this. Possibly he too, is "comfortable" along with the players.

Im wanting him out now tbh....Not just because of today but his tactics and subs have been * woeful since January.

Not got a hatred for him....I just think its time to move on an try another angle from a new Young manager.

Hibs game didnt bother me as i thought we were ok in that....But the Sevco games we have been * diabolical.

He sets up the same way....Has no Plan B and to be schooled by Barry * Ferguson when near every other manager here has and will take points off him...Yet we struggle.

Today a bottom of the league team schooled us......

Its time...Go out with a bang and win the Treble.

Mate, there is no guarantee we will win the treble. Our midfield is a disaster area.
Some on here were saying we would beat the bottom of the league team 10-0 and look what happened.
Lack of respect kills you in football.

I rate Rodgers, and wouldnt be pushing for him to go. But I must say the longer the seasons gone on - the less convinced about his importance to the team and irreplaceability I have become.

If you look back at BR as a manager, not just with us but down south too, it seems when his teams are good they're very good and when they're bad they're very bad. We get away with it more because of the modest opposition we face but some of our displays under him have been brutal. His first spell here things were amazing for about a season and a half then started to tail-off to a point where come the 3rd year we'd virtually ground to a halt. Performance-wise at least. 2nd spell has been successful trophy-wise and in terms of games won overall but performances have been up and down and we also have some glaring flaws to our game that he either can't fix or doesn't think are flaws in the first place. Is a change of manager a good idea? I guess it all depends on who we replace him with.

I think most of this general malaise comes from the lack of competition and general lack of importance to our games. I can understand why guys like CCV, Maeda, McGregor, Johnston, who have all played lots of minutes, have lost a bit of edge. I don't understand why someone like Idah isn't bursting a gut to cement his place when he gets minutes. And to be fair to guys like Yang and McCowan, they deserve more minutes as they are at least impacting games.

If Rodgers recognises this then ultimately it is up to him to change things. Little point in watching the same half arsed efforts from the same few players every week and then complaining

For what's it worth, I really hope Rodgers signs a new contract. He's an excellent manager that we risk taking for granted. I think the general boredom is coming from a lack of challenge in the league rather than anything Rodgers can fix.

    Unacceptable in any season.

We’ve picked up 4 less points than Hibs in the last 15 games and only 1 more than the huns.

    Absolutely dire

Calm down the league has been wrapped up since Xmas. Players have naturally taken their foot off the gas. They're human, it happens, manager has dug them out for it. We move on.

Championships are won over 38 games not 15 and we've absolutely * romped it.

The lack of competition is killing us atm. The league has been won for so long now the games have literally no importance. The CL form backs up that theory. Wasn’t that long ago we went toe to toe with one of the best teams.

It’s hard to get excited for league games the now they all feel like friendlies.

This quote from Gary Neville after the Utd game today - sums up a lot of football teams currently including us under Brendan "“But this robotic nature of not leaving our positions, being micro-managed within an inch of our lives, not having any freedom to take a risk to go and try and win a football match is becoming an illness in the game, it’s becoming a disease in the game".
