I dont think the players in holiday mode kind of reason works for me. Its a first half away performance that we have seen many, many times this season. Plenty of possession but really poor quality in the final third. And then concede a goal from an opposition on about 20% possession. Been going on since November really.

 

Dropping Nawrocki after two decent performances is a shocker from Brendan btw, he talks a lot about the psychology of players etc, well how do you expect players to feel when they see you drop a guy who played well enough to maintain his place yet gets inexplicably dropped with a cop out excuse of preferring a left sided CB, did Brendan ever use a left sided CB during his first spell with us? Pretty sure we always used two right footed CBs

Doing things like that, can potentially affect players mindset negatively, strange decision making from Brendan

 

Our performances have been stale for a while.

Kühn looks like he'll be second best to every 50/50.

Our progression from midfield to attack is so predictable just now. Passed out wide from McGregor, or from a full back, then one of the wingers plays is back inside. We'll then switch it to the other side via CCV if that doesn't work. Too easily shut out. No one in the front free able to effectively hold the ball up with their back to goal.

I'm unsure if it's directly due to us being so far ahead/the huns imploding, but the tool bag seems to have been put away.
