You don't get any cash to play with at the start but once you get through the group stages of champions league you'll have around 30-40 million to spend in January.

 

when I'm not on here I am usually playing fm24 on xbox. I've signed some belters in my second season on my new BR save. I don't want to give them away as it spoils the fun for you possibly but I've managed to sign the right mix of players to keep good team dynamics. Its kind of important not to go overboard and sign too many.
Currently top of the league unbeaten and in the last 16 of champions league. Huns can be either tricky or pure *, lost the league by 1 point last season though and was absolutely sick about it. Tbh I've been playing these games since LMA manager 2002 and i'm a save and quitter, but thesd days i've decided to play properly and if i lose to hunsthen so be it.
Anyone else reload save if they lose in the cup? I know its scummy but I have my reasons, like the game is too unrealistic and that

Haha nah mate have never and will never quit and reload but each to their own. It’s all part of the fun/trauma to me. Finding it tough to get back into it though.

Played like 7 seasons with Bristol City and ended up second in the league, won the fa cup, league cup, Europa and conference. Packed it in then after signing Khavaratskelia for £250m and ended up * on FFP and just wasn’t arsed with it then lol

Started one with Nordsjaelland the other day, not sure if I’m feeling it. Might go for another English save

 

Ha yeah i'm really stuck in my ways. I might have more fun if i tried another league, would be a different game altogether in the lower leagues and I would work my way up I just cant bring myself to choose any other team except Celtic.
My dream would be to not get bored of a save and go till 2035 like I did in fm12. Garry Bond with two R's became my greatest ever regen.
Go for it mate, if you need any players i'll give you tips. One I will throw out there. A bhoy called Semih the turk. I got him for free and he 'looks a great talent.

Better news, I have found a Japanese regen who's stats are off the charts at 17, he's on loan and next season I'll get Kyogo and Meada to mentor him.

 

I prefer starting Non-League.

Love the grind of getting guys in on trial to find gems and I feel like you get attached to players far easier.

I actually started a Clyde save, just got into the SPFL but that had the same feel. Just getting attached to players who are still getting minutes in top division. A guy called Paul Kemolafe and another called Charles Hagan. Both club Icons now.

Have to say if I didn’t have a facepack it wouldn’t be as enjoyable. I won’t sign someone if they don’t have a pic, unless it’s a regen.

Got this Japanese regen for around 2m a couple of years ago. He’s not played a game for us yet as he’s been out on loan at Alaves who look to finish top of the Spanish division. Next season Kyogo shall mentor him and hopefully we see Koki Hatano continue to improve.
He’s scored 16 goals in 21 for them this season.

 

Playing alongside CCV, Leonardo Coelho has made a big contribution since being signed at the beginning of the season.
Another young wonder kid who is improving well. His positioning is especially good for a young player and he’s tall enough to easily control games.

 

Dusan Dimitrijevic was signed for £1.2 million last season in January. He’s been preferred to Johnstone and Brandon Williams at right back. He needs to improve his basic defending attritubes if he wants to stand out next season, as you can see his pace is his main threat

Really enjoying my new Celtic save, kept it realistic and signed Engels. Won the europa league after beating Real Madrid in the semi's and Liverpool in the finals for the quadruple, all legit no scumsave. Starting this season rather poorly and the huns beat me at ibrox, Cantwell scores, very unrealistic and disappointing.

 

Fm25 not coming out even till march and they have said they don’t plan to update fm24, really bad news.

 

Old news at this stage, but thee is no FM25 and they are waiting on FM26 for the big new engine launch.

That said, I dipped back in to FM24 and just wrapping up season two with Celtic.
First season wiped the floor and won everything domestically and also the Europa.
Chris Ramos came in as my main striker (should be noted I am playing on an updated DB to reflect the most recent transfer window) - and he went and beat Larssons goal records for Celtic and collected the golden shoe award in Europe.

Season two, I say I am wrapping it up, I am still at the start of March, but just won the league against the huns on March 1st - so I am sure how we can see this save is panning out.

All said, board are being dicks and refusing to improve the youth facilities and as always, getting jack * from the youth system.

 

Its really hard to get good youngsters through the youth system even with top facilities and scumsave the chances are slim. I signed an Argentinian named Geronimo Domina hes absolute class on my save and I may have broken my own record with my best regen Diego Castineiras. Japanese players are a good shout also. I might post some screenshots

I think I have had one good regen come through at Celtic in all my days of playing all the FMs under the sun.
Had a few decent ones when playing as Lyon a good few versions back, so I'm sure it's not just the game being a * towards the player. But certainly in Scotland/Celtic they are gash!
