Thought he would have done well for us, had a few good showings off the bench occasionally in brief spells for moments. Glimpses of class sporadically, outbursts of skill on rare instances.....okay he looked stylish in the jersey. Might well of been our style of play that didn't suit him but 'the hoops' in all their splendour, did, fashionably. Hope he does well in the future, it just didn't work out for him here.

Celtic FC has a clear stance on Luis Palma, and Scotland already knows what the decision is.

The Scottish club has already defined its plans for the future of Honduran Luis Palma for next season

Playing for Olympiacos, but belonging to Celtic. That's the current status of Honduran Luis Enrique Palma.

The Honduran winger arrived in Piraeus, Greece in January 2025 via loan from Glasgow, Scotland

The Prince 's departure from Celtic Park came in a strange way: the player had an excellent first season but after a couple of injuries, he completely fell out of the manager's plans, Brendan Rodgers

Given this situation, the player asked to leave in order to get playing time, and that's when the possibility of returning to Greek football arose

According to information provided by Fútbol Centroamérica , Rodgers' stance and attitude toward the Honduran has not changed at all.

The coach believes that Daizen Maeda and, above all, Jota , the recent signing in the winter transfer market, have the cover for that position.

That's why the Scottish club has already defined its position: to achieve the closest possible sale price to its original investment

It's worth remembering that Palma arrived in Scotland for €4.1 million when he was purchased from Aris Thessaloniki.

Olympiacos' €4 million net option is The Bhoys ' top priority for selling the player.

Despite this, sources close to the club assure that if the deal doesn't materialize for that amount, they would be willing to lower their demands, always with the higher premium of getting as close as possible to what was paid in 2023.

As Fútbol Centroamérica exclusively reported on March 5 , Olympiacos is considering exercising the clause to sign the Honduran.

The Honduran player's impressions have been very positive, and José Luis Mendilibar, who signed a one-year contract, is positive about the player continuing for the 2026-2027 season.

Sources close to the player also claim that Palma Oseguera 's desire is not to return to Celtic.

The winger does not want to return to Celtic under any circumstances, having felt markedly mistreated by the club in recent months

Although nothing has been signed, our journalist Álvaro De La Rocha has learned the scoop that the 'Rojiblancos' intend , if the clause is exercised, to offer the Honduran star a four-year contract

With everything still to be decided in the coming months, the Honduran's future appears to be that he will leave Celtic to continue at Olympiacos, or… will another team emerge
