Just off it recently, another poor performance first half.

Some of the fouls given against him were a joke.

But I do feel he's been a bit lacking recently.

I thought he was a bit ropey today, wouldn't go as far to say he was bad but not great.

I think Kabangu was at it. Half of his fouls weren't fouls. Clancy couldn't wait to give them.

Just fell to the ground at least four times and got free kicks, Clancy was terrible today, but what do you expect

He done it smart though, played on it. Something I wish we done more that.

Swear to *, I despised Barry Robson more than any other player in our league because how many times he would win a foul elbowing one of us in the chest. Then he signed for us and I seen him doing the same to Xavi. Adored him.

We didn’t adapt to it. Well, that’s slightly unfair, he didn’t let him win they fouls in such dangerous areas.

I used to call robson a wee granny faced *... But in the hoops; loved him for his dig.

Think youre definitely right in that respect. We're far too "professional" in many aspects.

    * i miss Broony.

I feel today Clancy had CCV's card marked, decisions were made before kick-off. The only surprise was he got through it and stayed on the pitch. If Kagabangy had tripped over a drinks bottle in the changing room Clancy would have given a foul. Having said that I also felt CCV was a tad off his usual game in the first half hence why he was played so easily by Kajagoogoo, could be the after effects of internationals.

    He's clearly no right..

Was poor the other day. Allowing himself to be played. No reacting quick enough. Rash..

    Deffo playing through injury..

I would imagine we will know for sure once the league is wrapped up as he would then be used sparringly after that barring hopefully a cup final.

Being honest we should be more than capable of winning our next two league games without him with Trusty back.

If he's not right then even if Trusty isn't available we should be using Murray or similar.

I don’t disagree with that, I am just saying if it is an injury the likelihood is he will sit out games when they are essentially meaningless. If he is still playing it would suggest it’s form, possibly fatigue.

The allowance I would make in the Hearts game is he just done a transatlantic journey traveling to the west coast of the states (California) and back with an 8 hour time difference.

I know Johnston and the Japanese guys had their long haul trips but CCV hasn’t actually been in that many US squads where he has made it due to injury recently so dealing with any jet lag and being good to go for Saturday may have accounted for that game.

On top of that Kabango done a lot of diving and the ref continuously bought it.

On his form overall he has been playing with a lot of different partners back there and now even the keeper has changed.

Don’t get me wrong given his injury history if it is an injury it wouldn’t be surprising.

Sure. I think CCV getting time out and giving Murray or similar game time would be good for the overall squad was what I was trying to say.

We've misused him the end of previous seasons, would like to see us not repeat that.

Not been the same level this year, probably playing with injuries because of how much football he’s missed though.

Still rock solid but there’s been times since he came in he was peerless, absolutely strolling it in derbies etc even.

There seems to be some kind of hesitancy creeping into his game in the past couple of months. Definitely not as dominant in challenges as he has been for us previously imo.

He's off in the Summer if the word on the street has any substance so he might just be checked out.
