So sad to hear yer wee pal has gone to doggy heaven, heart breaking losing a family pet.

We lost our Yorkie in September 23 after 15 years and 8 months of pure joy, it still feels raw
    today.

one day at a time pal.

Massive thanks for all the kind words about my loss of Ruby Roo it means a lot to me:49:

Yesterday I did a 10 mile hike in the North Wales Upper valleys to salute Ruby Roo as I was collecting her ashes from the Vets later in the day.
I got great views of a male Peregrine, a Red Kite, and when I got to a valley that I did a classic walk with Ruby Roo and my nephew back in 2019 I got got the very same two classic species that I did then, a pair of fantastic displaying Goshawk and a pair of courting Kingfisher.

After getting her ashes I went to a good friend’s bar and saluted Ruby and the fine tribute walk.

Early on Saturday morning I was delighted to see my first Wheatear of the year on my local headland and this afternoon I was also delighted to see the local pair of Red Kites showing very well.

Good evening all. While I was watching the match today I managed to snap two ducks sat chilling in my back garden. I think they were after a wee rest for 5 minutes before they flew away. The river Thames is up the road from me but I can’t say I’ve ever seen ducks pay me a visit and you certainly don’t see them waddling around the streets. Last time I posted a picture of a bird of prey who stayed in my back garden for a short while. I was grateful that you all were able to identify it as an Eurasian sparrow hawk.
Since then I’ve kept my eyes open and wits about me but it really is a nice gift to have two ducks come and say hello.

I was delighted to well spot an ever so handsome male Ring Ouzel passing through on my local headland early this morning. One of my favourite birds heading to the mountains and moors where they breed.

PS Forget to mention a cool Fox was seen as well.
