    I thought there was a League of Ireland thread but could not find it so apologies if there is one already. I wanted to open a thread on the League of Ireland given the league's rapid growth in recent seasons. The new season started last weekend and included a derby match between Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers which was played at the national teams stadium rather then the soon to be demolished Dalymount Park and it pulled in a crowd of 33,208 which is the new record attendance for the league.
