He's done well. Nothing spectacular but no errors.

Keeps it simple and looks confident having barely played for us. Like the look of him and he’ll only get better learning from Kasper.

Good save in first 15 minutes and distribution was a bit ropey but after that he could have had a deck chair out.

He looked confident and capable and very comfortable with the ball at his feet, in horrendous conditions.
Good to see him mix up his clearances with going long sometimes, rathing than fussing about.
Two clean sheets now, and so far, so good.

He kept a clean sheet can't ask more than that from him. Good save early on, nice varied distribution, in all he gave a good account of himself. Could have read a book in the second half though. Pleased for him, his confidence can only grow with more game time. He has a massive task trying to fill Kaspers gloves, good luck to him.

I was hoping to see how he dealt with crosses as he was a bit dodgy in the Raith game. He's very slight and looks as though he could easily be bundled off the ball. Hopefully we get the chance to see what he can do a bit more next week .

Viljami Sinisalo has told Brendan Rodgers he’s ready to be Celtic No.1 for the business end of the season.

The Hoops boss is still sweating on Kasper Schmeichel’s shoulder scan – which could rule the great Dane out for the rest of the campaign.

Finnish international Sinisalo stepped up on Saturday for his Premiership debut and kept a clean sheet in the 3-0 victory against Hearts.

The Finland international admitted he’s gutted for his pal Schmeichel – but he has got belief he can grab the gloves as Celts prepare for the big push towards the Treble.

Sinisalo said: “It was great to play. I was looking forward to it a lot before the game.

When you get an opportunity to play for this football club, you’ve got to take it with both hands and hopefully I can do that.

“You’ve got to have that confidence. I’ve always been a confident man.

“One coach back in the day always said to me, have confidence to the point of arrogance. Never go above that. You can’t be arrogant, but you’ve got to be confident.

“Your goalkeeper needs to look confident and looks like it belongs to the place where he is.

“So, yes, obviously I’ll back myself. And however many games that is, I’ve got to back myself, which I will.

You’ve got to do that. As a goalkeeper, you’ve got to be ready for your moment. That’s why I’ve worked hard every day since I started my professional career and every day since I’ve signed for this football club in the summer.

“Every footballer wants to play and when you get that moment, that chance, you’ve got to take it and keep ticking the games away and playing well and stuff like that. So, yeah, it’s a mental game. Especially for a club like this, it’s mental

Every footballer wants to play and when you get that moment, that chance, you’ve got to take it and keep ticking the games away and playing well and stuff like that. So, yeah, it’s a mental game. Especially for a club like this, it’s mental.

“You’ve got to be switched on at every single moment in the game because things can happen so quickly.”

Sinisalo has been working closely with Schmeichel all season after the pair were signed on the same day last summer.

Celtic view the 23-year-old as a potential long-term first choice keeper and the Finn revealed he has been given the backing of his crocked glove rivals.

Schmeichel could learn the extent of his shoulder injury in the next 48 hours but Sinisalo said: “We swapped a couple of messages. He’s been really, really, really supportive. He’s someone I’ve always looked up to since I was really, really young.

Obviously, we wish all the very best for him and a speedy recovery. But, yeah, he’s been great since day one when we both came in and we’ve been really close.

“Like I said, he’s someone I’ve always looked up to a lot and he’s been great with me

Celtic need just three more league wins to claim the title and are gearing up for a Scottish Cup semi-final showdown with St Johnston.

Sinisalo admitted it’s a thrilling time to be catapulted into the team but he said: “Listen, one game at a time. It’s about getting three points here and we move our focus to the weekend.

“That’s St Johnstone, so we’ll try and tick them off one game by game and make sure we get the three points at St Johnstone on Sunday.”
