    Are you still on mats? Absolutely no need for links courses to have mats on all winter in my opinion.

    Yeah it's all the way through. Overkill. Even last Saturday we had 18 winter greens despite a pretty weak frost which lifted by about 7:45am

    * sake. Aye we had a frost at Leven as well, but they took the common sense approach and kept big greens on as it was gone by 8.30ish. Mats are a real pain in the * though. Golf clubs rigidly sticking to dates when they are introduced is a joke as well. This winter has been very good and there’s no reason why most courses, especially links couldn’t have had them as optional.

    Absolutely glorious man, surnburnt to a crisp but what a day!

    Captain v President at my home club Lochgelly this morning. 9.30 shotgun start. Tee sheet full, weather looking ok until we get off hopefully and a singer on in the club after. Course is looking very good for the time of year. I blundered thinking our game against Hearts was next Saturday for some reason and had already committed to play. Should be a good day though.

    Had a lesson yesterday. Weirdest thing being told what your doing wrong and how to fix it (I need the shaft steeper on my backswing)... Feels like I'm lifting my arms directly up to the sky.. watch the video and yet I'm still swinging the club shallow around me :48:

    Feel vs Real is a mindfuck. Slowly getting the hang of it though.

    Mats are off today aswel as taps stunning outside and I'm stuck waiting for a delivery, hopefully get done early enough to get a few holes in tonight, first comp on sat so need to get the practice in
