He'd still easily start for the likes of Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs for me.

    Massive coup for Dunfermline.

Aye he would, I'd imagine it'll be a short term move where he can help out an old pal and prove his fitness for a move in the Summer

Shrewd signing from Lenny, doesn’t really matter is he’s a shade of his former self - imagine being a Dunfermline player training beside him now for the rest of the season. He’ll give them a wee boost without a doubt.

That's actually a class signing for them. Obviously past his peak now but still looked decent for Montreal when I last watched them.

Lubo was about the same age when he signed for us, so don't think it will be an issue. Good to see the big man back in the country.

I don't care about Dunfermline in the slightest but hope Vic and Lenny do well for them.

Well done Dunfermline getting him onboard, he was dynamite for us a real box to box player and the opposition would bounce of him, hopefully a shrewd signing for Lenny.

DAFC are delighted to announce the signing of Kenyan international, Victor Wanyama, on a deal until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.

The 33-year-old defensive midfielder has had a decorated career, playing for clubs such as Celtic, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and most recently, CF Montreal.

Wanyama made 64 appearances for Kenya, captaining the country at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, before retiring from international football in 2021.

At Celtic, Wanyama quickly became a cult hero with his impressive performances for new manager, Neil Lennon’s side. Besides winning two league titles, Wanyama’s stock rose when he scored against Barcelona in the Champions League as Celtic pulled off a 2-1 win back in 2012.

At the end of that season, Wanyama joined Premier League club Southampton for £12.5 million, making history as the first Kenyan in the English topflight.

Following a spell at the Saints, he joined Tottenham Hotspur, reuniting with his former manager, Mauricio Pochettino. Victor was part of the squad that made the Champions League final for Spurs back in 2019.

Victor joins the Pars after leaving Montreal in January. Welcome to the Pars Victor

How true that is a Victor Wanyama type physical presence to anchor our midfield is our biggest need right now IMHO.

That is unbelievable. Get the band back together.

My Granpda is a Hun and a Dunfermline fan cos he lived there for years, he’s having a breakdown.
