What kind of formation would you like to see in this seasons champions league campaign? I would like a change in players as i personally wouldnt like to just rely on our superior home form, espically this season with a tough group. What do yous think?

    caddis...caldwell...mcmanus...odea

    hartley...crosas

4-4-2against any oposition at home. Away depending on the opponents I'd like to approach the games more conservatively

its about time we went for it in the away games. * sake we cant win away from home in europe when we play conservatively. so go for it big time. we have nothing to lose.

The 4-5-1/4-3-3 we played in Porto in July will be what GS will go with in Villareal, he said as much at the time.

I think something like this would do alright:

    ---------------------Boruc----------------------------

    Hinkel------ Caldwell------ McManus------ Wilson------

    ---------------Donati/Crosas-- Robson----------------------

    -----McGeady----- Nakamura------------ Maloney----

    --------------------Samaras-------------------------

4-4-2 coz we usually lose goals anyway at least playing 2 up front we are a decent goal threat

Whatever works, just as long as they go for the W, not the D.

Considering our away record i think celtic now have to play more attack minded ,maybe an attacking 4-5-1 ,nothing to lose a lot to gain .

    I just wan't to see a WIN.

Best formation should be chosen too suit on the day depending how the oponents are forming.
What wgs say's and what he does so far seems to have no credibility.

Lets hope they go for it at Old Trafford

This has to be the formation against Man U and Villareal but against Aalborg 4-4-2.

i would probably go for a 4-2-3-1 and go for something different as we need to change something for away games to give celtic a better away record

    totally agree :50:

i would play the same team today for away games in europe....i was very pleased with the first half. In europe i think they could learn from today by binging off a striker for hartley playing a holding role.

i think they should definitely try something different and go for a more attacking starting 11 because we need to find our strongest away side in europe to earn a result away
