You said we don't need another ST because we have Kenny.. I said there's zero evidence one way or the other to back that up.. let's see if he gets more game time when we wrap up the league.

Idah hasn't done enough in his starts.. this season!.. he's failed to capture the explosive form he showed last season.. if you look at how dynamic he was when we clinched the league at Killie, he's been nowhere near that kind of level of performance this season.

Kyogo leaves and he has a chance to cement a claim to the no1 slot, brushed aside by Maeda making it not even a debate, a £9m striker needs to be giving us more. Even if you discount the fee, any Celtic striker needs to be doing more.

I like the big man and hopefully we see him shine as the season draws to a close.. starting on Sun.

But aye, the jury is definitely out..

Aye Kenny hard to judge given we have seen very little of him so far, still what little we have seen so far, have gave glimmers of promise. He looks direct, pacy and quite tall. Still, I think you are being unnecessarily hard on Idah tbh, because he just looks like he is just getting up to speed now, considering he has been for the majority of this season been limited to fifteen minutes here and there, with a few starts interspersed in between, definitely not enough for a big lad like Adam to be fully match fit, with his eye in. I think he has proven himself over the last eighteen months to be a reliable striker given his stats to minutes ratio, his scoring of crucial goals in big games, and the jury is in for me anyway. Maeda has excelled in the striker position this year, going through a wee purple patch, and seems to have more confidence in his own abilities, but we are kidding ourselves on, if we overlook the fact he can still balloon two or three gilt edged chances, before hitting the back of the net, still a work in progress before we can say he is an accomplished, natural and deadly striker I would say.

If Maeda was an accomplished, deadly striker with everything else in his locker he'd be nowhere near Celtic.. :56:
