Thought Liverpool’s front line was really poor, salah was far from his best.

PSG were seriously impressive over two legs. Definitely went under the radar this season.

Liverpool have had a great season but in a strange way I don't think they've been that good. They've been efficient but are fortunate that everyone else has been well below par.

Fair play to them, but PSG battered them in this tie.

Enrique has built a similar side to his Barca one in some ways with the really fit, functional midfield who do the heavy leg work to open the game up for the rapid devastating front three. Great to watch.

They're deffo contenders and will do Villa..

That's the most well rounded side ive seen of their's..

    Pretty solid at the back
Ballers in the middle that can do the dirty work and control a game
Rapid with their front 3 and impressive kids off the bench
Fullbacks are some of the best on the planet. Mendes is up there with the likes of Alphonso Davies

The Ecuadorian centre half who's name just escaped me I thought was fantastic..

Psg are a seriously class side. Must be mental for their fans watching a young hungry side who’ll run all day compared to what they’ve been used to with a bunch of prima donnas only interested in trying to score and playing purely as individuals.

    He was exceptional man :giggle1:

They had loads of of players I didn't know well or hadn't actually watched fully before. The boy who took the last pen and almost scored 2 crackers in the game, he's going all the way to the top..

So much pace and quality. The boy Neves is brilliant as well. Could go right through them..

Slot coming across a * yet again here..

Seems a weird thing to say when they’re absolutely walking to the epl title but Liverpool are no where near the better european sides. They were extremely lucky to even get penalties tonight, got absolutely battered in extra time too. Liverpools squad is miles off it, taken advantage of all the other English teams being absolutely * this season.

Jota was his direct replacement at Rennes.

Darwin Nunez is awful for that level. Just knew he was missing his penalty. He tries, but * me.

Liverpool should be counting their blessings they got away with a defeat on penalties.

Thoroughly outclassed over the two legs. Mad that they are by far the best team in the best league. You’d almost excuse people for thinking that it’s not that great.

Liverpool get what they deserve for playing a weakened team vs PSV in that last group game they don’t do that and they likely wouldn’t have been playing PSG at this stage of the competition. We would have likely been one place up the rankings too.

I actually think both Dutch clubs in CL have been extremely fortunate this year, I would have fancied our chances against either if we had drawn them. They both trail an ordinary Ajax side in Eredivisie by a good number of points.
