The Killie performance was the one where I thought this guy has star potential. He was absolutely on it that day. Focused, aggressive and dynamic with some lovely touches. But he's kind of struggled to hit those heights consistently although he does keep notching up the numbers pretty consistently. It's whether he's comfortable being a good rotation striker or wants to push on and be the main man.

He is young enough to improve. We have seen that Rogers likes to "invest" in a player (£9mil aside)
He is averaging a goal every 110 minutes when you consider he hardly every plays more than 65m and more often only 25...then he is hardly holding us back....add to that he seems to want it, and seems to be humble enough to accept his position as No2.....so I am still a believer...!

Just fancy him to score whenever he comes off the bench. Would like to see him and Jota on the pitch together.

His attitude and general standard of play is awful.

He's awrite, sometimes looks really good, but we could sign the best spfl striker outwith us and huns for the same effect and it wouldn't cost 9.5m.

I thought he putbhimself about well. But did he touch the ball in the final 3rd? Maybe says more about our build up than him, as Maeda only had 1 touch in the gins box in the first 45.

He's very inconsistent in general I think though.

Did nothing of note that I can remember but with Kuhn stinking the place out it kinda forced our hand to bring him on and move Maeda wide.

Did absolutely nothing when he came on, so much so that Yang would’ve been better off coming on at half time tbh.

I think it showed we must buy a centre forward...I like him he has a lot of plus points but if kyogo was still here we move those pish defender's all over the place with kyogo daizen and Jota

I don't think he suits this system at all.

He's always wandering out wide, and for whatever bizarre reason whenever he comes on we stop crossing.

I'm leaning towards us cutting our loses with him, we're never getting what we paid for him but we could still get around £4-£5 million for him if he was to go.

He's clearly not a target man type that will hold the ball up for us yet we seem to always ask him to do that. He's fairly hopeless with his back to goal

We need to play him now the season's gone until he hits a purple patch then sell him on that high. Take whatever we can get cos he's not going to ever be a starting striker here and he's too expensive to sit on the bench.

Think he's one of these big laddie's who needs to be playing a run of games and get the confidence in.

That said, how he never started against essentially a back 3 of Souttar/Balogon and the other * is beyond me.

My problems is for a big he doesnt use it and first touch is pish.
At half time i may have subbed yang for kuhn....although...maeda is better wide in these games and that wa shown.

But aye...id maybe be dropping kuhn next game or so with jota and maeda out wide

Most of our fans would call Dessers pish but he's like our version of him and he cost double the amount of money.

I feel like I've given up all hope of Idah stepping up to be of a level I'd want our first choice striker to be at. I don't think he offers much at all. I don't believe if we swapped him for the likes of Dalby, Dessers, Murray, Boyle, Olysunya, we would look any worse of. We need to spend properly to replace him in the summer.

And that’s being generous to Idah. Dessers is still a more reliable goalscorer and he’s a bit of a laughing stock at times.

I doubt we’d even make back half of what we spent on Idah if we were to punt him in the summer.

Most of the time he’s on the pitch he offers absolutely * all.
