The more I watch Villa the angrier I get we couldn't beat them,they are absolute pish, and in as bad a form as any team around. Rashford is absolute gash too, I'd take about at half a dozen SPL strikers before him. Big talent, big ego, zero commitment.

 

Rashford is maybe the biggest waste of talent I can remember as a football fan. And he’s shown it just before it’s contract negotiation time, talent and ability wise that he can show and has in him is unreal. Similar to Pogba infact now I’m thinking about other waste of exceptional talent.

Big, strong, fast good on the ball, can score a wide arrange of goals, both capable of dominating a game when they could be arsed to.

And that’s the point for me. They both couldn’t be arsed to. And the only time Rashford in particular showed what he should be if he had the right attitude, was done just enough to get £300k a week and then that was job done for him. After he got that contract, he wasn’t even like he was before he was before bursting an * for that contract, he was lazier, gave no * at all, huffy, unprofessional and was pretty much the opposite mentality of any professional player that gives a single *.

There’s only a few guys I can think of with the ability and talent that they just couldn’t be * with. Balotelli, Pogba and Adel Taraabt. Adriano after his Dad died as well but at least he had 4/5 years of showing what he was before then.

His career has always confused me, I’ve probably seen him 30+ times in his career and every time he’s been absolutely quality. Always thought the same about Isco as well. Type of players years gone by they wouldn’t spend a career a bit part bench player, they’d have been like a Riquelme or Forlan type, absolute stand outs for a team just below the absolute elite ones. Modern football they elite teams just stockpile they players on the bench
