For those who are in love.....
When I was in my late teens/early 20s we'd knock about with a boy punting gear and usually end up back at his on weekends cracking on. Almost every time he'd shut the blinds and do that shoosh finger as if someone was at the door, then grab his machete and swing it about once he'd opened it. Never any * there and ruined your buzz for a bit and that was that.....the amount of whistle on the table was ridiculous at times..

Reason I bring this up is he got a flat a bit further away from his old one and no long after they built a massive, well known shopping centre. He was convinced they built it for surveillance on him and his place. He wasn't a big player or anything like that :giggle1:

He ended up outside a pub one day throwing loads of cash about to randoms on the main road and eventually got sectioned..

Do you mean they all started off by thinking they were gang stalked when they actually weren’t?

yes starts off strangers stalking them then it progresses to family members, family members setting them up, then they start destroying there house thinking the government or someone has bugged there house. They start bining their TV, Phones and computers and then the next day buy new ones. Then if you have a car then they think its tracked and start taking panels of it trying to find the tracking device.

they never have proof they have been followed its a question they cant answer and thats because its the start of psychosis iv spoke to many medical professionals and its very very real to these people it happens to. They will see things me and you don’t see.

with my family this is all early days you try sectioning them the NhS don’t do it as they have capacity then there paranoia becomes unbearable and thats when they start attacking random family members then the public and then the NhS takes notice as its the CPS that investigated before they take you to court and find out the person is mentally ill.

very hard for family and friends takes a toll on a lot of relationships destroys family’s and theres always victims at the end of the road.

More likely would stem from something true. Anything untrue or paranoid thoughts are a by product of that.
That’s what I mean by it snowballs out of control until you lose your perception of reality.
What I’m saying is that schizophrenia is just a label that doctors use, there are individual cases of people whose experiences are way more complicated then people give them credit for. They are not all delusional and shouldn’t be regarded as unsubstantial

I had a friend from school who I hadn't seen in years randomly add me on Facebook. But after a few months his posts started to get really strange.......claiming that 'the crips' were hounding him and following him for protection money. Turned out he was sectioned soon after for paranoid schizophrenia.

When you are sectioned you can be treated with anything on the spectrum of compassion to pure cruelty, the latter due to the reasoning that you are in there based on the fact you are a danger either to yourself or others.
Its not a nice place all things considered but if you say a prayer you can leave the place feeling stronger than you were before.
I'm diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, I was easily able to explain what was going on based on how I felt and what I experienced, then there is a healing process which requires compassion and an understanding,
There are patterns you notice with schizophrenia and that's likely the reason I was diagnosed. I don't suffer as others do though, I just reached my tolerance at some point and asked for help.

    * to your GP and tell them pal, he'll maybe give you something for your nerves, and or refer you for psychiatric help.
Don't be afraid they don't want to put people in mental health units there's not enough places.

You'll find out if what your going through Is real or just your mind drawing conclusions due to you being a bit of a firestarter online :86:

    Whatever you do take care

Well it seems any one who has taken the * here is potentially “going after and ridiculing someone who looks like they may well be going through something” Personally I just seen some folk taking the * out of * patter but heyho.

@KRS-1888 is livid, I mean proper livid cross! about this intolerance/ignorance… Although, tbh, I’m not sure if his level of pure raging livid was sufficient to actually do anything other than feebly attempt to grandstand on it…

Anyway, always happy to set the record straight.

For once in your life just shut the * up eh?

You have no idea what people are going through.

It didn't compute with me before but is it possible the guy is going through something, real or imagined?

You really are the smarmiest * I have ever known, in real life or online.

Wouldn't wish psychosis on anyone let alone someone like Naka who I think highly of (just a chill, funny dude basically). I think the fact we are all here and mainly a bunch of lads means we will rip the * without thinking too much of it.
But it can really get out of hand with your perception sometimes and in such times its important to have community.
I saw this horror movie with my girlfriend after I came out of the ward, it was called birdbox. I think I'm mixing two films together but when their reality (world) broke down like an apocalypse and the demons came it was finding the community which would be their salvation. We are faced with questions causing confusion but it was the idea of humanity that provided the answer. I cant say I have any clue of what is going on because we all experience things through our own eyes, I just hope you get through it safely and we see you again soon to enjoy your posts and stuff
