Not only could he get regular minutes alongside McGregor if Hatate leaves (as you have mentioned, he's not a like-for-like replacement due to mobility) but long term I think he'd be great as rotating with view to replacing Callum given their respective ages. Tackling and his composure in tight areas I think he'd be great for us in that 6 position. Either way, replacing Hatate's mobility and creativity will be a big challenge for us if/when he goes.

Think his future is definitely as a 6, but agree he could get minutes as an 8 as well.

Technically very good, good size and reads the game incredibly well for someone his age. He's never going to be a pace merchant but still developing physically at 18.

Really hope we're serious about signing him, seems like one who's game would go up several levels with better players around him.

The other thing I really like about him is his maturity and the fact everyone around him seems to praise how professional he is already. One we'll 100% regret if we don't get him in.

He's got 1 year left on his deal come this summer. Motherwell are living on the moon if they think they are getting anywhere near £8m. Be lucky to get much more than half of that.

If there is more than one bidder why not ask big. And if they told clubs he could go for half that they'd offer less.

LENNON MILLER could clinch a summer move to Union Saint-Galloise — and set up a huge switch to Brighton.

The Seagulls believe the Motherwell midfielder is a superb long-term prospect, but fear he is not ready to play in the Premier League next season

Now sister club USG are working on a deal to buy the 18-year-old for £5million and give him exposure to European football before selling him to Brighton.

USG, Celtic and Udinese failed with bids for Miller in the January transfer window, with the Hoops expected to make a new bid this summer.

The Scotland Under-21 cap has been watched by every top club in England.

But USG are leading the chase now, with minority stakeholder Tony Bloom driving the deal. The Seagulls owner lets the Belgian side use the data-driven scouting model he sold to Hearts

I reckon he can do better than go to Brighton's feeder club with the 'potential' of going to Brighton in the future. He'd surely rather come to us or go to Italy, you'd imagine.

He could come to us and have better chance of going to Brighton
