Rodrygo is something else man.

 

Thought they outplayed us for large parts of the game..

Got their tactics spot on and were much better on and off the ball.

Took an excellent/freakish strike by Maeda to get us back in the game.. we could have snuck a win at the end but thought they were excellent.

 

That's a penalty looking at the replay man.

Basically turned into a bye for arsenal and villa, 2 teams look like they peaked/fluked through and now came down with a bang.

Expect Liverpool to slap PSG about tomorrow too.

 

Atletico play with the most confidence you probably see in a team.

Would be really interesting to see Simeone at Bayern or Man City or even Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Even though his teams are really hardworking and clever defensively, he has his players playing with calmness and authority you don't see much, everyone is calm on the ball under pressure, they defend for fun when they need to and that.

For me they absolutley dominate Real Madrid tactically and in possession even though they have like half the quality.

 

I'm presuming Hutton is on panel because the villa game before surely? Never saw the gsme. On real v atletico ffs

PSV getting beat 7 1 , embarrassing. I wouldn't want to qualify if that's what happens in next game.

It's incredible Atlético lost that game...

 

They waltzed through our press umpteen times to the point we had no idea what to do. The crowd were moaning like * but fair enough..

I thought they were really good and bar tonight (where they were actually the better side), their results have shown it..

 

We were equally there for the taking I think is the point. I thought they looked a slicker and more organised team than we did that night, even though we had more of the ball. The first half they were the better team, 2nd half we were. Draw was probably fair in the end on the balance of chances.

 

Think it could've gone either way.

Score draw was a fair result for both teams.

 

Sobering what happened to PSV there.

 

The PSV game wasn't as one sided as it sounds. Not a bad game to watch.

 

Disagree mate. At CP, no chance. Not just because of the CCV brainfade OG (which was their 'score' in the draw), but Celtic should've done more, as the Hoops dominated most of that game, but didn't.

Both the Club Brugge (H) & Dinamo Zagreb (A) were there for the taking. They were both very winnable when the draw was made, Celtic were in better form than both going into those individual games and even as each of those 2 games were literally playing out, Celtic could've and should've done better and won them both.

Those felt more like 4 points dropped, rather than just 2 points picked up.
