    We absolutely robbed them blind tbh. He was great on the whole for us but his form had nosedived and it’s now apparently obvious it wasn’t just a case of us not playing to his strengths and more him playing * and missing a barrel load of chances.

    The reality of it is Maeda is a huge upgrade on Kyogo at this stage and we got a top class player in Jota back for the trouble too. Incredible piece of business.

    Let's be honest mate he really hasn't kicked his * since ange left aye still scored some big goals but the sitters he missed and he had lost an edge. Was a natural parting of the ways. Deal suited everyone.

    I don't know why people couldn't see it.

    Probably because it was for many a convenient excuse to have a go at the manager. We created plenty chances for him. It was evident he just wasn't the same player.

    Gave us plenty good memories but it made sense especially at a time where we could afford to take the risk with the league position.

    Agree. He simply isnt the same player anymore. I absolutely love him but he wont reach those heigts again.

    Grass isnt always Greener.....Dont know how many of the players and managers just * it all up for money.

    Great bit of business....So im not that bothered he plays or not.....Thats his problem along with his agent.

    Totally unrelated and perhaps slightly racist of me, but a couple of years ago I had a Japanese client who spoke English over emails and he once, I guess phonetically, spelled Approximately as "Apploxamatery" and ever since I've never been able to read that word without thinking of apploxamatery in a Japanese accent.
