I actually thought he was getting caught out a lot defensively but no denying he was good in an attacking sense. Great finish aswell.

Very solid + getting more adventurous going forward (hence the goal and assist)

Makes me poor heart feeling at ease when the ball gets played on our left

 

He’s brilliant. Get him signed I’m sure In the short time he’s here he’ll get a right good taste of it and be keen.

KT and him LB and AJ and Ralston on the right. That’s 4 bulls and full of assists.

 

He was always going to be good in this system as an inverted full back because ov his comfort in midfield but theres not much chance of a permanent as probably a 30k second choice.

 

Still gets caught out too much defensively but offers so much going forward. Would like to see one game with him at centre mid to see if he'd be a viable option there too.

Happy to sign him permanently, but I think we should also be looking for a young left back to come in over the next year or two as well.

 

I’d sign him to play in midfield plus as back up for KT and left wing. Plus KT wont play every game.

 

I still don't think he's 100% match fit yet. Didn't play many 90 minute matches before he came here and has played quite a bit since arriving.

 

Looks like he is loving it here no brainer to try and sign him

 

Like him a lot, good to have a LB with physical presence in aerial battles which he's won plenty of, been adapting to the inverted role rather nicely too, got a real dig on him, Taylor has never been confident enough in his shooting ability

With Scales and Trusty still not fully convincing enough to be that nailed on long term CB partner of CCV, I reckon if we tell Schlupp that we're considering using KT more as a CB rather than a LB next season (to keep KT more protected from injury) that he'll more likely sign if he knows the LB slot is his going into next season, not sure if he'll sign as a backup to KT, he'll want to play as regulary as possible during the last years of his career

When we signed him I was very much meh, that seems a deadline panic signing, but happy to have been proven wrong and he's been a quality addition

 

Doubt we can make it happen financially but if he was willing to sign a deal to stay that would be brilliant news.
