2-1 up @ HT.

Seriously, even at the end there if it was not for Kasper, Celtic would - and probably be should - be behind. St M have caused more than a few problems for the Hoops, but Celtic class from Schlupp and Engels from the spot, 2-1 at the break.

 

St Mirren were on the attack.

 

Poor first half despite winning, Schlupp comfortably our best player.

Scales looks really rusty, he should have had more gametime prior to today, I know Trusty's injury was a cut but still.

Would be getting Jota on shortly.

We are fortunate to be going into half time ahead. We really need to buckle it up for the 2nd half. Gifting St Mirren far too many chances.

 

I don't often call referees Huns, but this referee is for the watching.

 

Adam Idah simply does nothing for this team. The lack of pace is crazy.

 

That was bad. Our defense getting torn apart by balls over the top. Too much keeping possession on this pitch until Schlupp showed what to do: go long. What's the purpose of Idah if we just play like usual?

 

Feels a bit flat but done OK. It feels like a lot of the urgency in our game has gone and we're playing like a team that are strolling to a league title. Probably can't be helped and the pitch hasn't made it east to play good football

And Idah is a waste of space as usual!

 

It’s pretty clear that we don’t like playing football on these kind of surfaces.

We go through these phases every year and then once the weather picks up come onto a stronger game.

As long as we’re picking up points it’s fine by me.

 

Brendan needs to get them going.

 

Pitch is a disgrace.

But considering we've played 2 games a week for like 3 months any win will do.
