    His passing is too erratic
He loses out in too many duels
    He’s very poor defensively

We need far, far better options off the bench in the summer to where he’s a capable 6th choice type option and no a go to first or second sub around the hour..

If we get Schlupp permanently and have Bernardo as an option again then I think that’s part of the back up plan for him. Schlupp can play in the middle, if Tierney’s at left back.

I hear that but would be a bit concerned with KT's injury record if his 32 year old backup was playing a decent percentage of games at centre mid as well..

I don’t think it’d be a decent amount of games he’d play there either. Calmac, Engels, Bernardo, Hatate and McCowan would all be ahead of him if we don’t lose any of them. If we do I imagine Rodgers would bring in fresh blood to replace them as well. But he’s an option there, and can come in handy.

We should have 2 for every position in the 3 for me..

I think Hatate will go in the summer, so 2 centre mids of quality id want in..

    McGregor - new centre mid
    Engels - Bernardo
    New centre mid -McCowan

Then Schlupp and KT at left back. If in crisis Schlupp can fill in at centre mid then..

Has to spot the danger for the first goal yesterday. Just lets Campbell jog away from him and doesn’t track, but he can clearly see nobody else is getting to him so surely had to go with him. Does this too often.

Whilst there are arguments over his consistency (which is harsh imo) he's chipped in with some massive goals this season.

The goal against Hibs was my favourite. Was in the Melbourne CSC watching it and the whole place erupted into his song after it went in. I think McGregor has scored a fair few of my favourite Celtic goals. That one against the huns at Hampden when Dembele chests it down to him and he passes it into the back of the net lives in my head rent free.

Took his goal very well, is it just me or are there slight signs that his legs are going ?

It’s not just you. He’s still a great player and capable of excellence but he is on a slight decline. Don’t think it’s anything of major concern just now but succession planning should already be in motion behind the scenes.

Again don't think he was that great tonight.

First half especially the midfield was being held together by Engels.

I think in the summer we really need to think about someone who can come in and take some pressure off him. I still think Lennon Miller should be bought, but maybe bring someone with more experience in too.

Still love him. But he really shouldn't be playing near every game.

Desperately needs some rest … need to start protecting him a bit more and find some way of rotating him.

Thought Bonnar looked good when he came on, surely we could give him minutes and drop somebody else back a bit.

Let's be honest, a bit of a rest and he'll probably look most more fresh and energetic.

We are totally flogging him, like we did Brown and KT.
Just playing too many games, is it because BR does not trust anyone in that role?
He is just not sharp, loosing too many 50/50s and has zero recovery.

I think its time that he gets thrown into the mix of getting subbed more often. Would benefit him and also players like McCowan and Bernardo.

That much gametime at that age is tough *.

We need to try McCowan there or Bernardo when he returns, he's playing too much..

A new 6 is essential in the summer.

Although with no midweek games now until the split that should help.

It's not just you. The only question is whether it's solely due to age, or whether it's because he isn't getting enough recovery time. It's a concern though.

Its crucial that we manage his game time, in the interest of prolonging his Celtic career.
He must be close to a suspension too?

His legs are definitely going. More noticeably in the quick turnarounds in games..

Last night wee bobbles up off him and slack touches..

Still at times was leading the press and still has that ability in wee bursts to go by a man in to space and make things happen....but its clear to me he's slowing down. Deffo still has it in him for the big performances but if you leave someone on him with any kind of pace and freshness (which happens a lot more now), he struggles a bit..

Even one of the bad passes by Schmeichel felt like McGregor no showing well enough or reacting to it but that may be harsh. Would need to see it again. The one Nisbet put wide..
