Fine display tonight.

 

Engels was top class tonight.

He looked every inch and every penny a £11m player - and more so if he can keep producing performances of that standard. Superb.

 

Said it before but he's got a higher ceiling than MOR

 

Quality player but id like to see him toughen up a bit.

 

Excellent in the first half and he must be loving it..

We need similar calibre off the bench as he definitely tired..

 

Brilliant tonight. More consistency, which is starting to happen, starting lift some dumbells and he's gonna keep improving.

His passing, bar one he hit out the park second half. Second balls. Pressing. Composure to turn out of trouble..

Been superb for about 10-12 games in a row.

Still waiting on him adding goals but has great composure and handling the ball under pressure better every week which he was good at to start with. I like how every time he recieves a ball he knows his passing is top drawer and always has a wee scan of the pitch as its rolling towards him to see if he can ping one, if not he just takes the ball and does whatever but good to have someone who has those passes in the locker and who is always looking for them when we have * like Kuhn, Maeda and Jota up front.

He competed really well with Musiala also, I thought Musiala would terrorise us as he probably is the top dribbler on the planet but Engels tracked him well and he barely done anything over two games.

 

A pity also we didn't get that foul just before they scored tonight when Upamecano skelped Maeda in the face, was a good area where he might have been able to score what could have been a winner to put us through

Im convinced he will score freekicks if we get them lol
