Hasn't FFP (or whatever they're calling it) put paid to that type of thing. Wage bills etc need to be % of turnover. St.Johnstone or similar will never have the kind of turnover to prop that up.

Highly doubt we'll leave the scottish league system in the foreseeable future. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the european super league goes ahead and we are part of it.

I am taking about return on investment. For a billionaire to turn St. Johnstone or any team in Scotland into a profitable team and get a quick turnaround with success would be far easier to achieve than it would do with Southampton for example.

Only if in European football I think, so you could prop it up initially to get the fighting. I'd imagine getting Aberdeen, Hearts or Hibs to be profitable enough would be doable with some dodgy sponsors. Even if you get them to the conference league every season. Get 8 points and your through to the next round. So you can get the revenue.

The currently evolving Champions League is a prelude to a different system, we have to be a part of that.

Our future is away from the restraints of this restrictive footballing nation ran by dinosaurs and marketed by clowns.

Would love to see a british isles premier league and/or a british isles cup instead of league cups. Not holding my breath. At the end of the day, I think our best bet to reach our full potential is the european super league.

If we left then the orcs would love calling themselves the "worlds most successful club "....again....eventually.
