Daizen Maeda

I'm really surprised that we've still got Maeda, is it only us that appreciates his selfless coverage of the entire park, at the least I expected Ange to try to sign him, in fact Ange deserves a big thanks for signing such great, cheap players when he was our manager and now he's spurs manager he's steadfastly not came back to strip us bare as he easily could with spurs' epl squillions of pounds

 

Funny to think that many thought he wouldn’t be a Rodgers player but his game has come on loads under him.

Does he give any substance to that train of thought?

 

No but I've heard a few times from people that him and Hatate didn't like Kyogo. Don't know where it's came from

 

Aye I’ve heard that too. I think it came from the time pictures of Daizen and Reo were at a trampoline park and Kyogo wasn’t with them.

 

I know a good few people that’s bumped into them together, weirdly though not Hatate.

 

Well whatever the truth is it didn't seem to affect their performances, so doesn't really matter much to us.

 

Was it not Iwata Daizen was with?

 

If I remember the picture correctly I thought it was Hatate.

Yeah I was wrong it was Hatate or maybe it wasn't, definitely not 100%

Some believe it to be Reo Hatate whilst others reckons it's fellow Japanese teammate and new Parkhead signing Tomoki Iwata.

One fan posted a screenshot of the pic with the caption: "Nothing to see here... just Daizen Maeda & Reo Hatate fighting each other with foam beams on a trampoline."

Someone else said: "Seeing Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate at a trampoline park has made my week."
Another commented: "Why have I just seen Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate fighting with the beam things at the Gravity in braehead."


Whilst one other fan claimed: "Pretty sure it is Iwata in that pic!"

And someone else explained: "It's Iwata, not Hatate isn't it? Iwata was mates with Daizen in Yokohama you'd sort of expect them to be hanging out."

Fans may be divided as to who the mystery man is, but they're all in agreement over one thing.

Edit - I do think that looks like Iwata

 

They look about the same height. Reo and Daizen are the same height whilst Iwata is a few inches taller.

 

It was Daizen and Hatate there were other pictures at the time..

I guess just because they're Japanese doesn't mean they need to get on off of the park.

 

Maeda seems like a very serious person and Kyogo quite an unserious person. Of course, that's all just speculation.

One of our most important players right now and that's all I care about.

 

Daizen and Reo absolutely hated Kyogo


Heard this a few times one story I heard from a while back


They were all on a night out and Kyogo had to much to drink Daizen wanted to go home and Kyogo started fighting with a taxi driver


Reo turns round and smacks Kyogo in the face

Kyogo said when his compatriots joined that theh don't all hang about....sure he said i left Japan to see the world and just coz there are other Japanese people in the team doesn't mean they'll all hang around.. which is totally fair play.

 

Rogers effect. Always appreciated his work rate but now he has all the tools.

Even Yang starting to come on.

Just hope the board don't chase Brendan again. Back the man. Even though another striker was not required

Sure I've mentioned this before but my brother said he saw Maeda and his kids having a great time in a coffee shop in the West end. Having a right carry on, and then realised one of the kids was Kyogo.

So pretty certain Maeda and Kyogo got on fine.
