That does ring a bell. Think that the other guy not working out is partly why it was a tough shift for him settling.

Same. He's interested in football, first and foremost.

I thought you were the same * that said awful pundit and was pure confused :56:

For football breakdowns tactically and a good insight from a professional, that is something that most punters couldn’t point out like the majority of pundits, Petrov, Maloney and back in the day Terry Butcher I’d listen to and think that’s something I’d never notice. In Butchers case it was annoyingly so:56:

    Why?

I'm the other * who didn't rate Juranovic. Never been so insulted.

Why Butchers was annoying? Cos he’s a big Hun, but he was a very fair insightful one as a pundit. And one of few of their lot back then that would slaughter them rather than make excuses. They san died him for that I’m sure :56:

Hahaha I would say I rated him to a certain level, that was well below the one that everybody else had him at. Wasn’t a bad player by any means, just frustrating as * that he could and should have been much tfucking better

Nah don’t rate him at all as a pundit. Was taken aback at the amount of * he talked at half time in game earlier in the season. Anyway each to their own.

I love the guy. Was my favourite player growing up..but.

I thought he was poor as a pundit last night and just watched him on the warm up thing on YouTube. Honestly the way he's talking you'd think we were playing a run of the mill European side last night. Actually found myself agreeing with Kris Boyd ffs

Talking about how we aren't comfortable defending and need to attack etc. I feel like again, Rodgers can't win. There's just a real lack of awareness with various pundits tbh.

It's easy enough to sit in a studio and say attack attack attack, he should know more than anyone it doesn't work like that.

Said yesterday but I remember Sutton, Hartson and him constantly moaning about us not doing enough or being pragmatic on the European stage. When we do it, they moan again..not so much Sutton this time mind.

I thought he was spot on with his views on being more positive - in possession.
It's not black and white of being either gung ho or pragmatic against a better team, it's simply looking to play forward pass when you have the opportunity to do so.
Last 30 we did that, and look what happened.

That's why I thought calmac wasn't being presented with options to pass forward. No one facing up and looking for the ball and not enough movement. It'll get there but that's where Rodgers was talking about being that little more aggressive and brave.

The way he was coming across particularly on the warm up interview it didn't seem like that to me I won't lie.

Talking about the usual "this is celtic they should be attacking".

Thing is the football under MON was hardly attack minded and positive all the time. That's why we were so successful.

To be fair, I didn't see pre-match comments - so if he was pushing for all our attack, I don't agree with that.

My comments were more around his summary at HT and FT talking about positivity on the ball rather than sideways and back - that I did think made sense.

And even then at CL level we got 1 point in 9 games away from home under MON. Great at home though

Was a brilliant player for us and after all his health issues, I just love the guy and wish him health and happiness for the future.
