It's like I forgot how good he was, must admit..

He's came back and looks to have even more tricks in the locker and even more belief. Crazy considering he's nowhere near match fit (although you'd never know it)..

Proper bums off seat guy that's already ripping back lines to shreds. They just can't cope..

Him and Kuhn are gonna be frightening for the run in..

    From Brendan's press conference

I have been so impressed. He’s just got star quality written all over him, but he needs to get a physical level and that’s just time.

He hasn’t played a great deal.

I would imagine now with Maeda available it will be Jota off the bench tomorrow night.

Idah off, jota on, meada middle, schlupp to strengthen us up to hold onto the slender 3-0 lead.

Defo. And I see what Rodgers is saying....he does look a little scrawnier than he was first time around. Still showing his unreal work rate and skills though

You've spoken about Jota and how he needs to physically get up to speed. Do you think that he can start the game tomorrow and make a huge impact, despite only playing 29 games since departing Celtic?

You’ve got a pen and a bit of paper? I’ll tell you the whole team. He's definitely in the squad.

I've got to say I've been so impressed with him close up.

I've obviously watched him from the outside. I've heard some of the players talk about him. But seeing him come in and seeing him on the pitch, he's just got quality.

He needs to get to a physical level. But that's just time and a bit of support around that because he hasn't played a great deal. But there's absolutely no doubt about his quality

Great chance tonight, very central, just outside box - he'll be disappointed not to hit target.

Definitely not bad, but you can see he's not quite match fit yet.

    Can't wait till he's 100%, wonderful player.

Domestically the fact he’s physically miles from his best won’t matter, against Bayern it’s as clear as day but you’re still just hoping for one flash of magic.

Will be much better a few weeks down the line.

Game just came too soon for him unfortunately. Think next season once he’s got some proper minutes under his belt and a full pre-season he’ll be back to his best.

He wasn't near his level but the times he dis get the ball you could sense that they didn't fancy going 1v1 against him.

I also think his defensive contribution is massively underrated. Got back well a couple times and did it against raith for that belter of a goal too
