As you know I’m a massive Kendrick fan, over the moon it’s the best tickets outwith VIP. Even better that it’s for my birthday so I haven’t paid a penny

 

Thats quality. what did you think of his superbowl half time show? I guess in America its highly politicised or whatever but its a really powerful thing i noticed. He's definitely a great performer on stage.

 

Thought it could have had more of his popular songs but as a fan it was great.

He’s an amazing performer, Michael Jackson level for me. Up there with the greatest ever.

 

I remember the lads from (rival estate) barton were big into 50 cent when 'get rich' dropped. I was still repping Nas and would tell them Nas was 50's favourite rapper, I thought 50 was too mainstream and was sad about the hiphop sound changing over the years but my friend had the album and we enjoyed it. Nas became solidified as one of the greatest and is talked about as a real pioneer from New york. His influences included Slick rick and the older rappers from his area. 50 cent is a smart guy and definitely encourages people to think for themselves. Turns out 50 would practice by reciting Nas lyrics from the message, this is a song that when i first heard it in 96 I became obsessed with. He understood the feeling of hiphop and how your influence can send you on a journey.
