No it isn't. It's not on target. It's not a save either, that's just catching a rebound.

    You've gone mental over this.

Opta has it down as a save and so do all bookies mate. Classed as a shot on target if the keeper saves it

I've no idea what you're talking about mate but if you're pouring over stats trying to work out the difference between a shot that's on target or not then you've lost the plot

Be the biggest mic drop of all time if he wins the Europa though and it’s not out with the question if he manages to get his players back on the park.

He’s dead on but it won’t count for much unfortunately. I don’t think he’ll be sacked after that today but the next run of games don’t get a whole lot easier and if they lose a few more I can’t see them showing the patience they’d need to.

Big Ange has more lives than a cat. Mind you Clements giving him a run for his money too.

That keeper he has signed is absolute kak.

Would be interesting to know whether he has full control over the transfers. Signing a lot of young players for millions upon millions but they badly need players to impact things now.

He's right in what he's saying.

The injuries they have are wild. I do think though as much as he's saying it's not about me etc he has used that there to defend the recent run of form, which, ultimately reflects on him.

If they can get players back fit he could still win the europa.

I’m talking about the very very original reason we ever started this discussion after you responded to me :56:

Think you’ve lost the plot in forgetting it, must be all those transfers you never made on deadline day taking up that brain power

He’s kinda doubled doon in recent interviews I’ve seen. Hes refusing to blame the players for anything when pushed by the reporters. When in actual fact he could so easily come out and say “why can’t Porro/sarr/bissouma play a 5 yard pass?”

he must still have the dressing room, it’s just whether or not he has levy and the board

Honestly? I think he constantly decides to ignore the fact that it's his training methods that seem to leave a lot of players on the treatment table. He didn't just come across "a small group of players". It's a result of what he's trying to get out of the whole group.

He wants the media and the support to sit there and just go "fair enough Ange, results don't matter because it's a small group of players." To me he's acting as if he's playing EPL teams with a National League side.

Bad choice of club to go to, but he hasn't helped himself there either.

Exactly. Even we had a bad injury crisis before the winter break. Yet now with rodgers who focuses on recovery and we've got alot less injuries than before. Must be something in his methods.

Definitely feel Rodgers talks a lot more about recovery than Postecoglou did with us.

What evidence do you have that it's his training methods that caused this?

The exact same thing happened to us during his first season for a start.

You don't get an injury list like he does without something being wrong internally. It's not freakish if it happens at 2 different clubs under your watch.

Or is he just the unluckiest manager in football?

Wild he is still in a job. Has any Spurs manager survived as poor a run of form?

I'm seeing this said alot about him... what period exactly was our worst under Ange injury wise?

I don't remember a seriously extended time of injuries decimating our squad to this degree personally.

I can vaguely recall a time where players like Turnbull, Ajeti, Giakoumakis, Forrest and Jota were out at the same time but never anything like what spurs are facing with their CB pairings all practically out their LB and RB out, their two senior keepers out etc...

And given the names I've mentioned there for Celtic, I feel like that's part and parcel of the modern game now, every club always seems to have 4 or so injuries constantly ongoing.
