Thinking about the first leg, obviously Maeda missing is a killer. Not to the extent it’d be if we were away from home, but still far from ideal.

Personally, I’d start Schlupp left wing. Jota didn’t look particularly fit in his cameo and whoever starts on the wings against Bayern is gonna have to do a lot of running. Hopefully we keep it close and then Jota can come on second half.

Schlupp also has the pace to recover should Taylor get caught out. The other benefit of playing Schlupp and then later Jota LW is that it limits the number of minutes Yang plays.

Despite reports suggesting Celtic fans have been given the green light for tickets in the away end at Bayern Munich, CeltsAreHere can confirm that this is not the case

The club remains under review by UEFA and is still awaiting a hearing regarding the potential punishment for pyro use at Villa Park earlier in the season.

Celtic had already been on a two-year probation for previous infractions, and UEFA’s disciplinary process could lead to an away support ban for the second leg of the Champions League playoff at the Allianz Arena.

We have saw a flurry of articles taken down by the mainstream media in the last hour. We’re conscious of Celtic fans reading wrong information and maybe booking up for the game before they know the outcome of the hearing.

While speculation has been rife, there has been no official confirmation of an allocation for Celtic fans. The decision rests with UEFA, and as it stands, the club remains in the dock.

With Brendan Rodgers’ side set to face Bayern in a high-stakes tie, the potential absence of travelling support would be a significant blow.

Celtic will be hoping for a favourable outcome, but as of today, nothing has changed regarding their standing with UEFA.
