So Idah is out No1 striker, with Maeda as the back-up
But Maeda's ban means he misses the Bayern home game
That MUST mean Kenny on the bench tonight with a 15/20 minute run, same (if not more time) against Raith in the Cub...there is no real alternative if we want to have some options.....

Yeah, I think Dundee and Raith both at home are the ideal games to try a few things and getting Kenny some decent game time is definitely one of those things!

You would imagine he would be on the bench and getting time both tonight and at the weekend in all probability.

I wouldn't be against starting him against Raith, we should probably have him on at half time at least.

Either are a distinct possibility I would think. I imagine how he is doing in training and if he comes on tonight how he does will play a big role in deciding the weekend.

Think he'll definitely try Maeda through the middle v Raith as he can't play v Bayern.. with Jota starting in the left, to get the game time for Bayern..

Like I said before, he's scored 5 goals against some very good teams in the conference league this season. No reason at all why he shouldn't be able to do it in the league.

I wonder why he's not came on in any games even on the wing recently since that one game a while ago.

Even though he is a striker, he had a decent turn of pace and even took the ball on a couple of runs so he can beat men. Could be coming on for Kuhn for 20 minutes.

Not sure he'll risk Jota from the start... Probably last ,30-35mins again, to avoid injury risk

Give Jota 30 tonight and then 60 v Raith from the start, he's going to need to start v Bayern I think.

Bayern’s the kind of game a player like Jota without being fully match fit, him starting can get through it on the scale of the occasion alone. Not ideal would like him fully up to speed and we have two games to try and get that as much as we can obviously but it’s one I think he can be trusted to start in fully up to speed or no. At least for an hour, and then can judge it from there if we would then need to take him off but giving the replacement is Yang, even him gassing I can see getting 80 odd minutes regardless out of him.

Really need another wide option in there. Had thought we would have gotten the Norwegian lad in.

I'm surprised Yang is still here.

Schlupp is also a wide option, Forrest is presumably back soon and as much as I would disagree about it, BR seems to see something in Yang to develop. I can’t but BR seems to.

But it is leaving us relying on some players as the cover in several different areas. Schlupp LB/LW, Maeda wing and up top etc

Against Bayern I'd be tempted to give Schlupp and Jota a half each and just ask them to leave everything out there. And ike JC said, ideally get both a solid hour from the start against Raith.

Give Kenny 30 tonight, 90 vs Raith then bring him on for Adam against Bayern, he did pretty well vs Chelsea in Dec and there keeper had to make a brilliant save to tip it round the post, which won the corner that led to Rovers goal.

Maybe have that option in mind, but I’d definitely think it’s one to judge on the night how much you can get out their legs.

Adrenaline can get a player through the 90 in a game like that.

Actually, in retrospect, 30-35 tonight and then start him and give him either the 1st half or 60 mins against Raith makes perfect sense... :50:

I know we've limted options now but he'll still get little game time I reckon.

Think 30 minutes tonight, and a start against Raith Rovers.

With Bayern in mind. * can see an impressive cameo against Bayern and then never see him again. Very Celtic that.
