Imo Valle wanted to go. Wasn’t getting the minutes he thought he’d get. He looked decent in parts and has massive potential but was never going to show it here as he didn’t get a run of games. Straight into the Como team and will probably sign they’re playing regularly in a top league.

Agree with all of this. The only position we're weaker in compared to the start of the season is LB. We've got 2 quality strikers and a young back up and 3 quality wingers with Forrest as back up when fit.
I hope we do sign a striker but if we don't it's not a disaster.

I think Schlupp is a good addition tbh. Adds experience, physicality, pace and versatility to the team. However if it’s only a 6 month loan without a pre-contract in place then I’m less convinced about it. We don’t need stop gap signings unless they are a generational talent that we have no chance of ever signing permanently.

If he’s our only deadline day signing then heads must roll. What happens if Idah or Maeda get injured? Literally no striker options off the bench unless you count unproven Kenny or want away Cummings as options. I don’t.

Where’s everyone seeing the Ings stuff? I haven’t seen any of the journos that cover us usually mention it? Although of course could’ve just missed it.

 

A lot of people putting a lot of faith in Idah.. what because he's scored in consecutive games?

 

In what world do we have two quality strikers?

We’ve got Idah who has finally started putting a few good performances together halfway through the season. And then we have Maeda who is a winger, capable of filling in if needed.

If Idah gets injured we’re sticking Maeda up top, with a half fit Jota needed on the wing every game.

We need another striker.

 

If we somehow manage to sign Kvistgaarden at this stage, fair play. Brilliant.

If we end up with Danny Ings on loan it’s a * shambles.

 

If you look back from a year today when he joined he’s done a lot more than score just in the last 2 games. He’s been back up nearly the whole year since he’s joined and scored 20 goals, some very important ones in high profile games.

 

We brought in Jota so Maeda can play through the middle. I'm not convinced there's a drop off from Kyogo to Idah or Maeda. You say Idah is inconsistent - no-one's been more inconsistent than Kyogo.
