The Green Brigade’s continued refusal to stop with the pyro despite being repeatedly warned is part of the reason we were on probation in the first place.

May well not have been them vs Villa, but they’ve contributed hugely to it getting to this stage.

Love a lot of what they bring but they’ve shot themselves and the club in the foot with the pyro over the last few years. I’m not fundamentally against it but UEFA’s stance on it has been clear for years and they’ve laughed at the fines that have come the clubs way the entire time.

If we were given a ban for something worth making a point over, like a display of solidarity for Gaza, I’d back them. But the pyro is honestly juvenile stupidity.

Surely people would have seen that * throw the flare, and all those are duty bound, if genuine Celtic supporters, to grass the * up. Or can the cameras not find him?

He is a piece of * and I am beyond angry we do not have any away support in Munich because of his * actions. And yes some Celtic fans must know who the mega * is and if they really are true Celtic fans they should without doubt name and shame him.

The constant complaining about the GB is getting ridiculous and strikes of people who would prefer our club to not stand for anything and perhaps forget our history? If you want a stale atmosphere, a stadium with no noise and a club that doesn’t stand for anything (even if you have a different viewpoint to them on some things), consider supporting a club in England where all that is true.

People go on about GB and pyro- it’s at every club in Europe (except the stale clubs in England- see my point above) where is all the outrage about other Scottish Clubs that have had “issues” with pryo- Dundee, Motherwell, Aberdeen, Falkirk, Dunfermline to name a few.

UEFA, SFA, Police and the club need to find a way of working with fans groups across Europe to find a way that people can be happy with as it’s not going anywhere.

Maybe I’m in a minority- but I love seeing it games and think it brings a lot to the games (but let’s not forget the GB and Bhoys haven’t had any at European Games since the warning- Villa wasn’t one of them). It is always within their own fans group so the risks being talked about for fans wider is significantly overstated.

Let’s just accept we all have different view points and stop demonising the GB, Bhoys or any other of our fans. #aclubopentoall

Came across as pretty flat on TV.

It’s difficult when we don’t have the ball, but you can’t self-proclaim yourselves “best fans in the world” and only cheer when we score or through the CL anthem, then sit on your * the rest of the game.

The atmosphere has lost its edge.

It wasn't the loudest, but I didn't think it was that bad or flat tbh.

Don’t think it was flat but I do agree the atmosphere after YNWA and the Champions League Anthem isn’t what it used to be imo, might just be nostalgia but rewatching some big European games even around 2016/2017ish did seem louder in general, could really do with The Celtic End happening but can’t see it unfortunately

I think we used to go into any game at celtic park genuinely believing that we could win, and we proved that to be the case. Feels a bit different now when we're going into these games hoping that we might get a draw or at least not get battered. It's the way football has gone now where the gap between the elite and the rest is so wide. Thats not criticism of the fans- it's bound to be reflected in the atmosphere.

I didn't think it sounded too bad last night.

I was actually pleasantly surprised at the backing the team was getting whilst defending for our lives! Cheering when we pushed them back etc. And towards the end it sounded great!

Always difficult to create a famous atmosphere when the game was so tense. Of course it's been louder for longer in other games/years gone by, but I think the circumstances of last night and the fear of a gubbing muted any potential party atmosphere and sing-along fest people, perhaps unrealistically, expect.

nb. I'm just speaking about last night here, the conversation re the general atmosphere is more nuanced
