    McAvennie as well..

Think people forget what an electric player he was, with all thd Only Excuse stuff etc..

He was amazing in the Centenary season and when he first came up from West Ham he was the quickest over 10yrds I'd seen..

He finished 2nd top goalscorer in England to Lineker one season, as well, but a lot of his goals weren't captured because of a TV blackout.

    Some player.

Most of the ones I thought of initially have already been nominated and Ive no doubt they will feature In any hall of fame. So to add a couple more maybe not all legendary but iconic for sure imo -Barry Robson, Paul Hartley, Roy Aitken, Murdo Macleod, Joe Miller, Jackie Mac, Paul lambert, Frank McAvennie.

For those who are in love.....
The older heads must've loved Charlie Nicholas when he was here first time?

I'm too young but the clips of seen scoring against the huns at 17, double was it at the huns end. Twisting away to win away and qualify in Amsterdam. Titles. Cup final goals to secure us..

I knows he's a bit of a *, left and then came back and was past it but he's one of those players I would've liked to watch live..

Surely should be for ex players who are generally still talked about? Hence their threads being active and better to be in a more active forum such as the newly created hall of fame.

Or so we want to go down the WWE level of annual inductions where almost anyone eventually gets in?

    Larsson - obvious reasoning
Samaras - think he holds a good level of respect in the club and his charitable side comes up a few times a year.
Joe Hart - actively in the media and talks well to the club.
A general Lions thread - obviously as well.
Scott Brown - gonna be a decent manager it seems, he will be talked and linked forever.
Chris Sutton - see Joe Hart.
    Neil Lennon - it's a hate/love thing.

    Mahe - Mad *
    Wieghorst - scored some crackers

Just leave them in ex-players. It'll get confusing when you're trying to find a thread.

Interesting one on Marc Crosas. I was lucky enough to meet him when he was playing for the Mexican side Santos and they were in the US to play Chicago Fire. He was very generous with his time after training especially once he knew I was a Celtic fan and after the match between Chicago Fire and Santos even gave me his jersey from the game. Always as you say winding up zombies when he gets a chance.

It’s a bit looser than that, in that there’s no going to be an annual awards ceremony. The collateral positive effect it will hopefully have is folk can start threads with a poll on an individual during down time at their leisure and we don’t need to read about @cidermaster throwing luxury custard at the moon and what not :fear:

Its real intention is to separate the wheat (Larsson) from the chaff (Olivier Kapo). I’d agree with the other members that it didn’t feel right just lumping Kyogo in with yer Bolingoli’s and Barkas’ of the world at the drop of a hat.

TB was mentioned by someone but as you say there are some who dont need named as we just expect them to be included. Packie is a good shout though.

Packie is a good shout and I did think about including him. He was so good for us and around in and around the centenary season in particular.

Yes Tommy Burns is a great shout, again I thought about him but just kept him out of my 10 as I wanted a bit more of a spread years wise and not too much of a focus on the top guys when I was a kid hence I kept Tommy and Packie off my list.
