Things moving now by the sounds of it! If we do manage to somehow bring in KT, a striker and another winger alongside Jota, then it’s the best window I can remember!

I'm now thinking we are gonna sign someone on loan with an option to buy for the striker position. Maybe a player of more experience and calibre on the edge of a top team etc hence the loan first.

Beginning to doubt it's Kvistgaarden. Just a gut feeling.

It's hard to judge a striker playing in the second worst team in a league of 20, team rarely have the ball and spend most of the games defending chances few and far between . His stats at Salzburg are incredible and they paid 25m quid for him.

Loan with an option would be decent .

Daka on loan with an option would be very interesting.

That would be an outstanding signing.

If we can’t get KT this window then it’s not the end of the world. Taylor with Scales back up should be able to do the job until the summer.

I know it's a random KDS rumour but Daka would be one of the best options we could realistically get experience and price wise.

His contract is up in June 2026. They'd probably take a buy option of maybe even £10m in the summer. He was offered out to Monaco start of the month apparently.

Daka would be great but he must be on big wages.

To me he's the best option mentioned/linked.

I did wonder if we would go for him, he has barely played this season at all, only has 18 months on his contract. When you actually look around the EPL or top end of the Championship there isn’t exactly a load of talented strikers on the fringes of those squads. Most are running with only two strikers.

Another ex Rodgers player I wondered about was Iheanacho is apparently surplus to requirements at Sevilla and they just signed a new striker.

I am just hoping it doesn’t end up like a Patrick Bamford or something like that.

Never liked Daka as a player. Looks like a donkey any time I’ve watched him for Leicester and still backup to a 50 year old Vardy

Depends what Daka we get, Daka at Salzburg was destined for big things

Maybe so, but Scales is horrendous at LB and Taylor is not ideal for Europe tbf.

Leicester paid £23M for Daka, so they must have seen something in him.
He was sensational at Salzburg. Lightening quick, and if he dozen't score, he usually lays on assists.
    Six footer too.

I would be all over this on a loan, ideally with an option. @Mr Shelby

Horrendous is overstating it a bit no? He's been fine last couple times he's came on at LB. Obviously KT is what we all want but big Scales can do a job there 100%.
