Reo Hatate

Agreed, and that's what frustrates me he does have some of the best passing you could ask for and some lovely touches. I just feel he's been off it this season and goes completely missing in alot of games. This is probably the worst spell he's had here, and we all know what he's capable of.

 

He’s been * honking for what we know he can do this season. But against Killie, his passing and general play is what I expect from him. Shame he missed a pure sitter, or it’d have been a flawless game from him.

And anytime he’s shown that, he’s not followed it up the same the next game. That’s what he needs to do, consistently do what he can.

He played well on the weekend but when I seen the line up, first thought was that’s * on McCowan losing a place. Hatate at his best is possibly our best player. But that’s the thing, when was the last time for even 3/4 games in a row have we seen him at his best?

 

He's got to be sharper and more decisive on the ball. Too often, he’s receiving it facing his own goal, waiting for it to come to him, and taking that extra second to make a decision—which gets him caught out. On his day, he’s an absolute magician, but the inconsistency is a real issue. We need him at his best tonight, no question about it.

 

We could really do with an Aberdeen cup semi final or Leipzig at home level performance from Hatate tonight.

His consistency has been a major problem but if he could pull it out the bag he will be one of the best players on the park.
