Regardless of how well we are doing there's nothing wrong at looking to always try and improve.

Too many are content with how we are. * that let's get better.

 

There's very little activity across the board in this window. Teams have reigned in spending due to fair play rules and the later champions league games stop teams selling players before groups finish. From a celtic perspective, the league is done, the champions league play off spot will hopefully be done this week. If there isn't many options out there there isn't much of a rush to act.

 

I'd say almost zero percent of people are content with how we are.

The reasons for clubs being more active towards the end of windows are there, it's a matter of personal choice whether you want to consider them or just plough on with * you invent in your head.

Nah mate am happy to wait to summer. I wouldn't be breaking bank to sign players in January if we don't need to or the right player isn't available

 

Lack of activity or even rumours currently is getting frustrating. Less than 12 Days to go now.

Pretty happy the club have stopped certain leaks getting out

 

Rodgers made a point for months that we needed to strengthen in January.

He did and every manager will make the same point. We are a team that lost twice in the last calender year, are on the cusp of qualifying to the next phase of the CL, are double digits ahead in the league and have already won the League cup. I don't think it is a pressing concern to rush bodies in the door. We are being linked with a few interesting moves. Let's wait and see where we sit by end of the window.

 

You probably have a valid point mate I just don't know if the board will see it like that.

 

Tierney and a winger this window would be good in my opinion. Other areas I think we can wait until summer.

 

We definitely need a wide player, if Kuhn got * we'd be goosed.

 

Id be pleasantly surprised if there is any significant business in this window. With a 13 pt advantage in the league it doesnt seem in character for the board to be doing any big expenditures.

Getting nervous about how often I'm reading on here that the league is done. It's far too early for all that. Football can be a cruel mistress; just when you're on top of the world a couple of injuries and an unsettled player can wreak havoc and bring you crashing back down to earth, especially if you're getting arrogant and complacent.

 

Hoi ya dirty thief. You better give @Blochairnbhoy his phone back pronto. He'll hunt you down with extreme prejudice.

 

Have no doubt at all that we’ll bring one in.

The new format for the CL just adds an extra layer of confusion around the January window and it’s almost a lose/lose situation. For example, if we were to release Valle tomorrow and bring KT in, then Taylor gets injured - we’d be without a left back for the last two CL games.
