The Spurs fans who travelled to Tamworth at the weekend would maybe disagree about it never being boring right enough.

Arsenal had control up until the spurs goal but Tottenham didn’t look completely dominated; still had their chances. Just stupid errors again costing them goals

Don’t know if it’s just recency bias or not. But I can’t remember him ever just constantly looking down during interviews? Seems to look like a defeated man mentally. Sad to see

Going to a club that was selling one of their best ever players was a bad idea, then spending a * load of money on Solanke = worse idea. I feel sorry for him but Spurs are a basket case.

Awful, isn't it. Looks beaten TBH. His body language scares me more than the results.

Solanke has actually looked good the last few games so could still be worth the money (English tax added to the value obviously). Bergvall is gonna go to the very top, he’s insanely good for 18 and can’t believe he only cost them £9m. Same for Archie gray, great player.

the players that keep letting him down are bissouma, sarr, spence and dragusin. Dragusin being the only one that’s his signing. Forster and vicario both let him down in goal too with lack of quality on the ball.

We backed him with players that suited his style. Doesn’t look like spurs have done that…

I agree with you totally about Gray and Bergvall, both were good tonight for Spurs and have massive potential. Spence looked decent too. Injuries have killed Ange, most of his back 4 are out. Levy has improve the infostructure massively but the same problems always arise.

Spence was good first 30 mins then just completely shrank. Totally get it though, he’s not even their 2nd choice right back beginning of the season and he’s now having to play left back! As you say all the injuries…. CCV was pivotal to anges system here; Micky van de Ven is the same for him there and he’s hardly had him available.

has been very unlucky there I feel. I guess it’s football in the way squads succumb to injuries and transfers but cannot believe how many injuries they’ve had

Nailed it there for me. Van de Veen is so incredibly important for how he wants to defend. We had that with CCV here under Ange, and beyond Ange as well tbf.

He has a very specific way to make the team solid, for us CCV had that big impact for it but Starfelt was * pivotal for the way he wants defence to work as well. And he needs the two CB’s to do it perfectly, or else its *.

But his demands on CB’s is a lot more physically on them than most managers demand, they run more than most systems, they need to constantly be pushing up, sprinting back… it’s a high demand on them. At us… we seen CB’s injured a lot the first choice were rarely available until the games slowed down to 2 a week end of season.

And that’s happening at Spurs as well. It may be too demanding. As much as I * adore it

Can't they go out and get someone that fits the profile? The window is open and there's game time for everyone with the number of games they have.

See the thing is they’ve signed the best prospect in the world at centre half in vuskovic but he’s on loan currently, arriving properly in the summer. I saw a lot of Tottenham fans discussing buying a centre half but they think it would be wasted money as come the summer if all their centre backs are free of injury they’ll have like 6 capable of first team football.

so think they’re wanting to go down the short term loan route which then lowers your scope to get a truly good defender in. Because obviously most will be playing for their clubs or not available for a loan!

Then you add into it that apparently levy is reluctant to buy too many older players as he wants to bring the wages down with younger players with potential

Yep, said it at the time what he did in Spain was remarkable. Proving it wasn't a one off either the way that Bournemouth team are playing, taking huge scalps every week.

Still feel like the English media aren't really giving him enough credit. Normally they're too quick to label someone as the next big thing but he's going under the radar a little bit.
