Not bad first half and second half was *. So weak at times. Dundee were decent tbf to them. Point in the ends not the worst considering where we are in the league. Some serious knee jerks I see though.

Was Palma no doing this regularly when he first arrived? He was always shooting from outside the box.....If I remember right folk complained about that too....it'll always be something...

I don't think Engels, Hatate or Bernardo are thd type of players who could play defensive midfield. If we're adamant that McGregor should be pushed forward and take up the goalscoring responsibilities then we need a player to play in his position right now and we don't have the right player in.our squad to do it.

Aaron Moy would have been the answer

Paul Dalglish (kenny's boy) was on the books in the mid 90s.

Saw him play at Mike Galloway's testimonial. Kenny was playing aswell and he was late 40s at the time....still looked a player and a half. Well what I learned was that Paul was nowhere near as good as his da. But we could resign him anyway

The knee jerks are because of the cl games round the corner like a pointed out in other threads since the international break Rodgers has had 4 important games / acid tests Brugge Zagreb and rangers twice and failed in any of them to win in 90 minutes …. I’m worrying about young boys especially after Dundee took us apart in that second half

    Thought Johnston was poor
Idah looked I’ll sweat was pushing off him with in five minutes of kick off …. I seen him do a king burst et from his own half into their box and fluffed it looked * after it

Shocking defensive performance tonight. Fair play to Dundee for having a go and putting us under pressure but every one of their goals our defending was terrible. Especially the third, watching Trusty getting ragdolled from a corner was just horrendously weak. We spurned several good chances and should have been out of sight at half time. Lucky to get a draw in the end. Think Brendan was too quick to pull the trigger on the subs and that he would have made different changes if we'd went down 3-2 earlier in the half. Would rather have put Kenny up top and have Kyogo and Kuhn on than put Palma up personally. But hindsight is a wonderful thing. Credit to Dundee for their performance and even more impressive given their injury list. We need to get the finger out.

15 games left to go, so still 45 points up for grabs. Next league game is also against Dundee but at Celtic Park.

Motherwell on the 2nd of February, so certainly not an easy one. Hoping we'll have strengthened the squad in this window before then.

    All over. 3-3.

Credit where credit is due, Dundee gave us one * of a game, especially in the second half. We can score goals, that has never been the isuse, the problem tonight is that there is wastefulness in front of goal... and Idah now 0 in last 12 is a concern. He had his chances, was stroppy coming off - top straight oiff and straight down the tunnel.

However, questions at the back also, with some pretty dire defending - Trusty was pushed off the ball far too easily.

On the balance of play though, a draw is probably a fair result. Both teams are attacking in nature, but Dundee will take the plaudits and deservedly so, for they were unlucky not to beat Sevco last week and finished 1-1, and tonight came close to beating the Hoops for the first time since 2001 overall (and 1988 at Dens), especially considering having so many players out injured also.

    A bit of a worry, the overall trend of 'Away' form - 5 points from the last 12 available. 0-0 D v United, 3-0 L at Ipox, 4-1 W v County & now 3-3 D v Dees.

Could perhaps put that down to the heavy fxiture schedule, but it is nothing that other teams have not been at as well.

Sometimes just have to see it as that bit of a bump. It happens.

Have a couple of massive games coming up, the SC v Killie at the weekend followed by the CL v Swiss champions, Young Boys - and we really need to win both of those.

I think sometimes there's too much focus on what celtic (we) have done badly and not enough credit to the opposition after we drop points. You see in the EPL tonight albeit a higher level but there's three of the top sides all drawing to "lesser" opposition. Its a gruelling time of year and its no surprise season after season most of our poorer performances come between December to February imo. It happens. Particularly if you don't take your chances!!

Dundee were great from about 41 mins onwards when they scored. They didn't allow us to play.

Should we be able to get around that? Aye definitely. But sometimes it doesn't happen and that's football unfortunately. There's a reason they haven't beaten us in nearly 40 year aye. Bit thats probably the best performance they've put in against us that I can recall watching celtic.

They played well, very well. We missed chances at key times and got complacent. It happens. I'm annoyed at us being as slack and there's a lot to work on but when you take a step back and breathe, we weren't exactly up against a down and out side, tonight.

We need to try and get the intensity and aggression back into our play though as its slipped off. I don't think it's a coincidence that it's coincided with a busy run of games, though, as well as us having a commanding lead in the table.

Agree with a lot of this, Dundee were very good especially 2nd half. Their sheer desire and fight carried them through while some of our players seemed to fade. Definitely a different story if we took some of our earlier chances.
