He was buzzing in his interview.

Think he was a bit annoyed he never got more to be honest mate. Said as much after the game as well. Think he would have been disappointed not to score a couple more.

 

You know how we say the big house must 'stay open'. We should still have a similar campaign, ' Kyogo must stay '

 

Tbf if I was playing in minus 8 in Dingwall a don't think a would have been smiling either

 

I've gotta be honest, I've always wondered why we didn't play him in a free role, drifting behind the main striker... His ability to move through gaps and draw; then lose, defenders is amazing... Let him go free, tell players to always keep one eye on his movements and see how it goes...

Can't imagine it not being incredibly successful personally, although I'm not in any way a coach/manager and there may be a perfectly sensible reason why that's stupid!

Celtic captain Callum McGregor wants Kyogo Furuhashi to stay on at Celtic as they drive towards the title — and believes the Japanese forward is still fully committed to the cause.

Furuhashi remains the subject of interest from MLS side Atlanta United despite the Parkhead side turning down advances last summer and he appeared downbeat after both of his goals in the 4-1 weekend win at Ross County


However, McGregor sees nothing in the former Vissel Kobe man to suggest he is unsettled by ongoing speculation over his future and was clear when asked if he wants to see his team-mate remain at the club.


‘Yeah, absolutely,’ he replied. ‘He’s a top player and has given us so many good memories in such big games. He’s been the difference, he’s been decisive for us.

‘So, I’m sure that the club will want to keep him as long as we can because he’s a huge player for us and, again, in sticky games like this (Ross County), he can make the difference and that’s what you need for your strikers

He pretty much has everything. I’ve probably run out of superlatives for him, but he’s still such a huge and important part of what we’re doing and we’re really lucky to have him

Any time I see him train, any time I see him play for the team, he’s still giving his all, so that would suggest that he’s happy and wants to be part of the team.’

 

I’m in no way an expert either but I think this sounds grand. Let Kyogo loose I say!
