:nonono:You’ll not have heard of relative transfer/cost inflation then…??

£12m in 2001 is probably equivalent to about £25m-£30m today, plus Idah’s two goals at Easter Road and Fir Park last season, along with the Scottish Cup Final winning strike are well worth the money:ynwacelti

:38:Listening back to the BBCsportsound radio commentary - all the pundits along with match commentator were adamant it was a fair challenge, “it’s a contact sport etc”, not a penalty…even though they said they only saw it once live (ie. no replays!). Even Michael Stewart claimed it shouldn’t be awarded and that it was “highly controversial” oh dear

We hadn't paid the 9m at that point nor where we obligated to. He well and truly paid the loan fee last season ,should have left it there as a successful loan to help us get over the line .

I think people wanted a good look at Idah over a few games. Kyogo is a good player, took his goals today. But he hasnt been amazing this season as a whole. I think its fair to say hes not really a natural fit for how we have been playing. Hes had quite a few games where hes been non existant. So can see why people wanted to see if Idah could offer something else.

I liked the way we sometimes missed McGregor out and played it a bit further forward allowing McGregor to get onto the lay off, which meant he was then running at their back 4. Need more of that when teams try to man mark McGregor.

Fwiw I thought that was a very impressive performance, and result, today in really difficult conditions.

With the frequency of games recently, the injured missing players and a pitch that was only fit for potatoes at the end.

To then come away with all three points and even improved the goal difference again, is testimony to BR, the back room team and the whole squad.

Kenny and McCowen both looked impressive off the bench, Calmac and CCV looked majestic and Kyogo’s finishes were sublime.

Ramps up the pressure even more on the other side of the city, and the possible banana skin that is St Johnstone

Thought it was a very good performance today. Even more so given the shocker of a pitch. The game should have been done by half time. The scoreline was probably about right in the end. Their keeper had a good game and our finishing at times was poor, but we created plenty today, at a venue where we usually struggle.

I can't believe a fellow Celtic supporter would continually bash a player of ours for months (and I mean months) on end.
