Kyogo and Idah combined only had 4 touches of the ball in the Dundee Utd box, Dalby from them who came on as a sub had 3 in our box.

Our strikers only had 3 more touches in the opposition box than in our own box in one of the most one sided games of football probably ever played in the League.

We put 35 crosses into the box in the game. Thats not right.

Just checked the last game there as well after seeing that and they only had 4 combined against St Mirren as well in the last game.

8 touches in the box for our strikers in 2 home games. Olusanya and Ayunga the St Mirren starting and sub striker had 6 in our box.

Idah has had 6 touches of the ball in the box in like 120 minutes in back to back home games and Kyogos had 2 in 1 hour of sub appearances.

Our strikers only touching the ball in the box like once every 20-25 minutes AT HOME.

How many actual lifted crosses did we put into the box though? I can’t remember a single one from the byline, every one of them was low and hard.

Not sure how many made it in but we attempted 35

    Also 25 the last game.

Yet Kyogo and Idah combined only touched the ball in the box 4 times against both teams.

That Igamane from the huns touched the ball 12 times in the box against Hibs.

Igamane's 12 touches in the box in against Hibs away is only 1 less than Idah and Kyogo combined have had in our last 3 games in the League.

I was in the stand mate, I’m talking about a lifted cross not drilled low and hard.

Only one I can think of is Palma’s and that was from 30 yards back.

Dundee Utd blocked everything we were drilling in low.

Brendan Rodgers has hit out at the punishing Premiership winter schedule after being left with one fit winger for Dingwall.

Nicolas Kuhn and Daizen Maeda have been ruled out of the Ross County clash through injury, Luis Palma has suffered a family bereavement and James Forrest remains several weeks away from a return. Celtic have been left with just youngster Yang Hyun-jun as their only senior wide man as Rodgers counts the cost of the brutal run of six games in 19 days.

The Hoops face another six before the month is out – with key Champions League clashes with Young Boys and Aston Villa also on the horizon. Rodgers insisted the calendar needs considering with the winter break being binned this season due to the increased loan in Europe. He said: “It certainly it doesn't help

Hopefully going forward, we can find solutions to that. The spotlight will be on ourselves and Rangers in European competitions

And you are going to come out the back end of a really, really gruelling schedule. So, like I said, we have to cope with it and maybe in the future the organisers can look at ways in which we can help.

“My bigger picture is that we used to know that December was going to be a hard schedule and it was about getting through all of that. Then you had your New Year's game and then a couple of weeks to reset, refresh and then go again for the second part of the season.

To then actually have even more games in that period, now that we've had a break, it is a real challenge. You can't deny that. However we will do everything we can to produce the best performances and results and be focused on that as we possibly can be.”

Rodgers will not have the wide men tomorrow but expects Kuhn and Maeda to return next week and won’t be a doubt for the Young Boys European clash the following Wednesday. He said: “James certainly won't be available. The two boys could be ready for Tuesday (at Dundee).

“Daizen has obviously played a lot of football and just felt something that he didn't want to aggravate. He's gone for a scan so it's not too serious but it just rules him out of this game.

“Likewise with Nicholas, he felt something just in the warm-up the other night. He had the scan and it was nothing too serious. We’ll get them treatment and then we'll assess them for Tuesday's game.”

Rodgers insisted striker Kyogo WILL be in the squad for Dingwall after MLS outfit Atlanta United mistakenly posted on their website they’d signed the Hoops man

The boss said: “I can guarantee he's on the coach and he's travelling to Ross County so he's certainly not in the MLS. Listen, you know in this period of time there's always lots of gossip and speculation around so many players, and especially talented players. So I'm sure that will continue to be the case over the coming weeks.

“I actually only knew about (the web announcement) five minutes ago so I was a wee bit surprised. As I said, we're very hopeful that we can get players in that we would like but availability and the affordability of players is always something that is a challenge in this month.

Is it Bonnar that plays off the left for the youth team ? Maybe a chance to get him some minutes. Puts in a nice early cross.

True be this...We often scored so fast that there wasn't much chance of a brickwall defence by the oppposition.

He’s right about the busy winter schedule affecting so much and I’m glad he highlighted the impact on supporters. Something needs to change. In that respect it worthwhile remembering when looking at performances dipping over this period. Chalking up win after win playing twice a week for the most part is extremely impressive no matter who you’re playing.

McCowan played wide at the start of his career. Would shift him out right. Put Yang left.

He tried that for 10 minutes or so against Dundee United, McCowan looked out of place, and uncomfortable out there. He got whipped off quickly. Judging by that I think he thought to give it a try and immediately said no, not working and unfair on McCowan as well.

The obvious move is Kyogo wide, Yang the other side. I’d say Kyogo on the right but he played LW in Japan a lot. The other wing I’d probably have Valle tbh but he won’t do that to Yang, he likes Yang. And benching him when he’s the only fit winger playing teo guys out of position he won’t do, it’d destroy the confidence he’s trying to build in him. But Yang fries my brain.

MotM nailed on for Yang tomorrow then.

Could he possibly go for a 3-5-2/5-3-2 with wing backs? Scales trusty ccv at the back then either Valle maybe left AJ right and kyogo and idah up top? Johnny kenny to come off the bench

Only thing is, I’m sure with Kenny playing for shamrock rovers this season and then if he plays for us. You can’t play for 3 clubs within one year I’m sure? So then we’d only have the option of selling him back to rovers (if the idea is to sell him)

Subs combined for the 4th. We can go into games with a more flexible approach after today.
