    Playing Mass Effect Andromeda. Can't mind if it was here or a gaming forum I sometimes go on mentioned it, but those games are absolute amazing.

    Got Star Wars Outlaws for Xmas, and I still haven't played undisputed lol, had it for months.

    Playing Andromeda with a mix of FC 25, College Football and Madden 25.

    This year looks pretty nice indeed, Assassins Creed, GTA and Mafia.

    I might take a look at that. I enjoy these games but don’t have the time anymore for the learning curve.

    I played Hearts of Iron IV a lot and used YouTube to try and quickly get the basics of it but then they expanded it and added loads of new mechanics and I fell behind again. Just couldn’t justify the time learning it all again.

    Yea its easy to feel overwhelmed with some games especially when they keep adding stuff and changing things. Alot of games also don't tell you jack * with no tutorial and expect you to work it all out.
    Have a look at manor lords mate on youtube, its a really relaxing game and shouldnt make you feel like your in the deep end.

    i know practically nothing about computers but I have a dell pc and it looks like its ran out of disk space, cant update anything. Does anyone know what I need? My gut tells me more RAM but that might be too oldschool as I think you can buy extra hard drive to five it. I have one but it hasn't really solved the issue so am looking at other options. I might take it in to get it looked at.

    I don’t think it will be RAM mate based on what you said.

    Disk space is like your hard disk (HDD or SSD) and is where everything is stored including applications, games and the OS.

    RAM is where applications go when they are actually running, so when you boot up a game for example it will use up a chunk of RAM.

    It sounds to me like you have filled up the hard disk so adding a new one should do the trick, but you would probably need to move stuff from the current one to the new one so the current one isn’t full anymore, is that makes sense?

    If you open File Explorer and go to the root folder I think you’ll see your main drive (probably c drive). You should see there if that’s full or not.

    @Bad Ambassador

    One other thing, if you boot up a game or whatever you can open Task Manager (CTRL + ALT + DELETE) and it will should you your RAM utilisation. If it’s nearly full when games / applications are running then adding RAM would definitely be beneficial even if it isn’t the exact problem.

    It could be tangentially related to the disk issue because when the RAM is full, the system will start to try to use the disk as RAM (which will grind everything to a halt), and if the disk itself is full it would probably crash the system.

    Nice one mate thats quality info that I can look at when i'm not stoned, probably can fix it myself in that case. I bought an external hard drive already, looks like I can just swap the files around. I'll have a look at it tomorrow. Cheers for all that info i'm really grateful

    I finally got some time on my computer last night and went to buy it, but I couldn’t find my steam gift vouchers! :56: Found them today in the car so hopefully get on tomorrow and have a go! It looks fantastic.
